    DATE OF OPERATION
    OTL 13JAN24 - 1500 EST
IUT XXDEC22 - Before Sunrine IGT

ORIENTATION:  With Viking's seizure of the airfield, we can now begin evacuating US citizens. Unfortunately due to the situation on the ground, there is no local force we can rely on to escort those citizens to safety. We will have to send our teams out into the region and extract them ourselves to the airfield.

    1. SITUATION

Unit: Takistani Rebel and Loyalist factions

    Interactions otherwise As per SOP

    2. MISSION

Alpha Company (WHO) is conducting operations (WHAT) in AO SANDMAN (WHERE) to establish an evacuation route for US citizens and extract those unable to reach the airfield (WHY).

    3. EXECUTION

    a. Commander's Intent
Commander's intent is to rescue any and all US Citizens in AO SANDMAN or otherwise specifically at OBJ TROUT.

    b. Concept of the Operation

HADES will be tasked with reaching an aid camp (OBJ TROUT) with several civilians trapped in the town of Qibcaq North of the Airbase. Drone footage has revealed ongoing fighting within the town between both factions. The tight confines of the town and heavy fighting will make a direct landing difficult. The aid workers' previous attempt to extract via their helicopter failed when the helicopter was destroyed.

    - Scheme of Maneuver (See Coordinating Instructions for Visual)
Hades will insert via 160th SOAR at PLZ RAINBOW (113,121) with SLZ BROOK (113,122) & TLZ TIGER (111,124) as backup LZs
Hades will move to AP ICE (114,120) and begin assaulting towards OBJ TROUT(114,117 SE QUAD).
Hades will then move to OBJ TROUT clearing out any resistance along the way.
At OBJ TROUT, Hades will ensure the safety, health, and numbers of Aid workers and any other US Citizens.
Hades will then secure the area immediately surrounding OBJ TROUT.
Hades will then secure a suitable LZ for extraction if not already available.
Hades will then request appropriate extract for aid workers and will exfil with if space or orders allow it.
Hades will consider other possible exfil options if aviation exfil is not possible.
Hades will otherwise remain in place and defend until additional transportation is available or additional orders are received.

    - Fire Support Plan

160th SOAR via established JTAC/Air-Ground Channels or Hades HQ/10 if no JTAC is present.

    DATE OF OPERATION
    OTL 27MAY23 - 1500 EST
    IUT 17SEP21 - 1830 IGT

ORIENTATION: Venezuelan forces have seized control of the island of San Esperito and are fortifying their positions before the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit arrives in force. They are concentrating the forces in the two major cities and are working to solidify their control over the island. We are conducting operations to undermine the Venezuelan influence and control over the island.

    2. MISSION

Alpha Company (WHO) is attempting to degrade Venezuelan forces (WHAT) in AO MAINE (WHERE) in preparation for the 24th MEU’s landings (WHY).

    3. EXECUTION

    a. Commander's Intent
Commander's intent is to destroy any SAMs in the vicinity of OBJ SKY before they are able to be redeployed.

    b. Concept of the Operation

MSOT 8313 is tasked with destroying a SAM convoy attempting to relocate to the West during the storm. The gas station at OBJ SKY will put the convoy the farthest away from any other Venezuelan QRF, making it the most vulnerable. A security squad is expected to be escorting the convoy. No civilian presence was noted in the area prior to the storm rolling in and disrupting ISR. The SAMs represent one of the main threats to the coming naval invasion and must be destroyed at all costs.

Additional tasking will be given in-field as determined as needed by ROUNDTABLE.

    - Scheme of Maneuver
Hades will insert via 160th SOAR and conduct a near shore water drop to North of Island
Hades will then move to RlyP near top of Hill 286 for recon onto OBJ SKY gas station.
Hades will then move according to recon
Hades will utilize ranged AT assets if able if SAMS are already at OBJ SKY
Hades will otherwise occupy gas station and set up ambush
Hades will conduct raid style attack if neither option is viable
Hades will then EXFILL unless additional tasking is received

ORIENTATION: The Kosovo Security Force is conducting a Joint Training Exercise with the 3d MRB to better acquaint themselves with special forces tactics and how to counter them. Due to the ongoing tensions with neighboring Serbia, this is also a deterrence operation. However, there are signs a fringe Serbian nationalist group may be intending to provoke conflict between Serbs living in Kosovo and the Kosovan government. The teams must be on the lookout for possible provocations or attacks by this group. 8312 had a hostile encounter with this group and they are willing to engage with lethal force. Until further notice, the teams will only be allowed to fire live rounds if fired upon.

  12. Appreciate it Hart, wasn't my favorite thing to find out we now could have a failure of the parachute in the middle of an FTX. Nearly splatted to learn this info.

Personally failure rate should be lower for the chute imo. Maybe 1% or .5%. Its something that can happen but usually doesnt.  These would make it 50-100x more likely than real life to have a malfunction. It is currently 1000x more likely to fail at 10% compared to real life failure rates.

Cook off from heat should be super rare. Theres a weapon jam once or twice usually per mission. Cook offs should be maybe once every two missions under normal conditions. Obviously having to go cyclical on an MG is abnormal.
