The News & Articles board is where S-2 Story writers will post articles and media that embellish and help drive the story-lines around any given 3d MRB deployment. Please be aware of the following about the way these articles work:
 

• Articles and deployments are created under the concept that they, and the 3d MRB, exist in an alternate universe which is based off of the real world but is not necessarily the same in all respects. S-2 is fleshing out world governments, elections, political events, military confrontations, and similar to allow the lore and the universe for the 3d MRB deployments to exist completely separate of real world events. TL;DR: Just because something happens in the real world does not mean that it happens for the 3d.
• Articles are created from different sources and news organizations with the idea of bias built into them. Different news organizations are more reliable than others and each has their own agenda that they are pushing to a degree. Tldr; Just because something is said in an article doesn't necessarily mean it is true.
• The mostly covert nature of the 3d means that many of the conflicts we will be involved in are fueled by political strife. S-2 will be producing articles that touch on, and report on, political events that take place within our fictional universe. The views and opinions stated in these articles DO NOT necessarily represent the views of the article's writer, S-2, or the 3d MRB as a whole. The same rule that applies anywhere else on the forums still applies here: Don't make it a problem with politics or it will be shut down.
• Time flows in the "alternate universe" at a fluctuating rate in order to facilitate gameplay and story consequenses better. The in-universe date is determined and advanced according to the Today's Date board. 

 

Remember that this is a public area of the forums. Be respectful with what you say and do as it is available for all to see.

Our team spends a lot of time creating and building the articles for world that you all get to see. Commenting on their articles and speculating about events is a fantastic way to tell them thank you and to show your support for the team.
