Capt Night Posted January 26, 2022 Hello Everyone the S-1 Public Relations Section is currently looking at new game modes that can be ran on the public server. Our intent with the server is to have it be a place everyone in the unit to come and play and to fill that arma fix that you get outside of normal unit operations as well as to have it be a recruitment tool for the unit. Some of missions we are currently looking at are Liberation, Dynamic Special Operations (DSO), Hearts & Minds, Invade and Annex. We would like your input on what mission the server should run as to get more unit members interested in the server. I have posted below a links to the missions so you can read up on them if you are not familiar with them. 1. US forces withdrew from Afghanistan after the major fighting was over. This gave the Taliban the chance to retake the country. US has redeployed in the south at Kinduf Airbase to help the local population fight against the Taliban. Your main task is to defeat the Taliban and restore peace and order in Afghanistan. The Taliban has an unknown number in the region that need to be neutralized. They have also ammo caches in various locations, destroy them to weaken their power. Bad actions cause bad effetcs. Infact there's a reputation system: helping the local population, fighting the Taliban, disarming IED will rise your reputation; killing civilians, losing vehicles, respawns will decrease your repution. At the beginning you will have a low reputation level, so civilians won't help you revealing important information about Taliban, they will likely lie instead because they dont trust the Americans yet. Features: Medical system Logistic system Deafness simulation Interaction system IED's Suicide bombers Dynamic caching system Civilian interaction Reputation system Designed for dedicated servers Dynamic Recon Ops Dynamic Recon Ops is a randomised, replayable scenario that generates an enemy occupied AO with a selection of tasks to complete within. Select your AO location, the factions you want to use and any supports available or leave them all randomised and see what mission you are sent on. Designed to be simple to use but with plenty of options to customise your mission setup, the objective behind DRO is to create a way to quickly get playing a new scenario in singleplayer or co-op. With as few changes to the base game as possible, DRO aims to showcase the unique and varied gameplay that Arma 3 has to offer for smaller scale infantry combat. Additionally, DRO has been designed from the ground up to take advantage of faction mods. If you have any mods that create new factions they will be selectable as player or enemy sides within the mission. However, the scenario itself requires no mods apart from specific terrains if you want to use them. Features Playable in SP or COOP Dynamic scripting means that no two missions are the same Menu on startup to select a variety of options including time of day and insertion type Revive system that takes visual cues from BIS revive but is fully AI compatible and works in both MP and SP Virtual Arsenal to select starting loadout for both player and AI units 'Reset AI' diary entry to unstick AI units 30mins - 1hr 30mins duration
