If Done Right, we believe MilSim is a unique platform which can have a meaningful impact on real people
For Prepared Citizens, MilSim can provide high-fidelity tactical instruction, leadership training, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
For Military Transitioning into civilian life, MilSim can provide a sense of familiarity – a community of people with shared values and backgrounds to help ease through a difficult time
For the Sick or Disabled, and those who could not otherwise serve in the military, MilSim can provide an outlet for a portion of that experience – To challenge yourself, to find community, and to be apart of a larger mission
What MilSim Is Not, as far as we’re concerned anyway, is an E-Penis measuring contest, a place to get screamed at for no reason by idiots on a power trip, or a perfect 1 to 1 simulation of the real military
And That’s Fine By Us – Because those things detract from the real mission of MilSim – Creating a community of like-minded people focused on Tactics, Training, Professionalism, and Fun
WHO ARE WE?
We are an ArmA 3 community of civilians and military from around the world who provide a simulated experience of the
3d Marine Raider Battalion, a component of MARSOC in the United States Marine Corps
Our members are organized into 3 Marine Special Operations Teams (MSOTs) and 1 Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) Rotary Aviation Section
These Units Deploy Together in complex operational environments where failure is always an option, and where Tactics, Teamwork, and Skill fundamentally decide the outcome
Outside of Deployments, these units conduct team-oriented training events, participate in unit-wide Certifications, Deployment Preparation Exercises, and send their members to Specialty Qualification Courses that enhance the capabilities of individual operators and their respective teams
Outside of Arma we are a Community of like-minded people who develop lasting friendships, enjoy playing other games together, and enjoy our fair share of dark humor and memes
Flexible Operators
Critical Skills Operators (CSOs) are the main entry-level role & the backbone of the MSOT structure
Unlike traditional fireteam roles such as Rifleman or Grenadier, CSOs receive specialized training in multiple areas and are able to swap roles as required on a mission-to-mission basis
These Qualifications Include
Breacher – Machinegunner – Heavy AT – Anti-Air – Designated Marksman – Sniper – Advanced Combat-Life-Saver (ACLS)
Flexible Tactics
MARSOC performs an extremely broad mission set from Direct Action and Unconventional Warfare, to Counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction and much more
To facilitate their broad mission set – MSOTs receive specialized training in various Insertion, Combative, and Extraction techniques which they can flexibly employ to gain a tactical edge in an Operational Environment

Amphibious Assault – Combatant Diver – Heliborne Rapid Redeployment – Heliborne Assault & Extraction – Littoral & Small Boat Operations – Military Free Fall (HALO/HAHO) – Mobility (Vehicle) Operations
Unparalleled Support
Complex Missions require Exceptional Supporting Assets to ensure a mission success. In real life, these are the Night Stalkers, the 160th SOAR
We strive to emulate their capabilities with our own 160th SOAR Rotary Aviation Section which calls on Exceptional Pilots to perform At Their Peak in the most Technically Challenging field the unit has to offer
