While I love the idea of more realism, and medevacs are really cool, as someone who has been hit in the first 10 min of a mission before, getting knocked out of being effective that early on is infuriating, especially when you then get to sit at base for two hours because air is busy and or there's AA threats. I have to go with bringing back the bandages, just for playability. I'm here to have fun in an immersive environment, not to get punished every mission when an AI shoots me through a tree.

  2. SO, this year, as last, your own local baby game designer attended the global game jam! I was at Another Castle, a game dev co-work space in Massachusetts, and I worked on a little game called Sonar. The theme this year was transmission, so it fits nicely! The idea is that you can't see the level, only through your sonar pings can you suss out whats where. I'm a bit brain-dead right now, so I'll end this here and say, enjoy! (We have builds for Windows, Mac, and Linux, so everyone should be covered.)
