  1. Just now, Maj Ray said:

It's claimed that AI cannot see players through bushes unless players give away their position somehow (like firing a gun, allowing for audio location). I'm not sure I buy that. I know that AI do not see grass, but laying prone does reduce their ability to detect you.

I think the bush issue is always going to be controversial.

Yeah it's bullshit they think bushes work. I was sitting in a large bush in the dead of night and hadn't moved or made a noise in over 10 minutes and I got shot at by an AI 200 meters behind me. I used Zeus to check out the incident and there's no way the AI could have seen me on the other side of the bush unless it detected 1 pixel through the leafs.

  3. I'd like to propose a thought experiment to all of you. Choose a world event, big or small, from any point in history and change it. Example; "How would the world be changed if the Roman Empire didn't collapse?" or "What if the new world didn't exist?"

Think long and hard about it. Write a reply with some depth, length and serious thought put into it. I would encourage you avoid obvious and easy ones like Germans winning world war 1/2. You can of course do the obvious ones, you're a human with free will. I'd also request people to not just do one line events like "FDR was never president" and just leave it at that. No real story or thought. You can work on it as a group.

Debate is welcome as long as it is civil. However I'll make another topic, if need be, for it.

    Summary

    1. Choose a world event, big or small, at any point in history and change it.

    2. Please avoid sensitive topics like "What if Donald Trump was assassinated?" or other scenarios in history that will cause an uproar in the forums. Forum rules still do apply, obviously.

    3. Write about said event change in depth with some serious thought put into it. Things like how it would impact things immediately and in the long run on a regional, national or global scale. Punctuation, grammar and so on, isn't required but it does help. I'm guilty of being terrible at them. Try to get spelling right though, please. Photos never hurt to help with a story. Making a video on your topic would truly cool, but not required.

    4. Avoid plagiarism please. Your own thoughts on a topic are way better then copying someone else's.

    5. Post it.

    6. NO TROLLING. STAY ON TOPIC.

    7. Have fun and read other's works.

  4. So what is the one game that, if you could, you wish you could forget playing? So you could play it all over again and enjoy the game like you did the first time. That pure excitement and losing yourself in it and such.

For me, it's The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

    What about you people?

  5. I just feel like doing a small giveaway. I'm hoping to see at least 3 people want in.

    How it will work.

    1. Only one entry per person who does not already own the DLC. No "I AM ENTERING TO HELPING ANOTHER PERSON GET IT." allowed. Let's be honest, doing that is an unfair cunty move.

    2. I will friend the winner and send him or her the game as a gift.

    3. The raffle will end on Thursday the 15th @ 2359.

    4. Winner will be announced at some point in the few days following.

5.I'll be choosing the winner by random.org number generator. Each person saying they want in on the raffle will be assigned a number based on the order they post. Obviously anyone who posts about stuff besides wanting in on the raffle doesn't get a number.

    6. Ask any questions you may have on this post, please avoid PMing.

    7. Also I do not guarantee playing with whomever wins. I'll consider it if asked, but no promises sorry.

    8. LCpls and up only. No entry phase people allowed.

    So good luck.
