Round two of being a dastardly Frenchman. Now with 50% more A E S T H E T I C S (minus the heart-stopping moments when TrackIR betrayed me). Plus a 'scramble' startup at 6:11 for all of the DCS nerds squad. @1st Lt Osbourne @Capt Jennings

'Canyon Dancing' with the Mirage 2000C. Love this thing.

What it looks like: What it feels like: I impulse bought the Mirage 2000 for DCS and it's beautiful.

@Capt Jennings huh, I thought you would get a Makarov or TT. Jokes aside, CZ's are nice. Personally, I'm a SIG guy so I'd reccomend a P220 'series' pistol, if you have the shekels. I also heard the Hudson H9 is pretty good for comp, but I've never used one.

I work Target Customer Service part time while I am going to school. The back room (storage/overstock) guys are the best, either they are complete fuck-ups that are responsible for less shifts (one guy forgot to close the cold storage walk-in fridge door and we lost $5600 in perishables) or poor bastards that get ridden harder than Roman slaves in the gladiatorial pits. Kinda makes taking people's shit not seem as bad tbh. And the Pepsi spill is all too real for me, we had an incident while unloading the food truck and now our receiving deck is still superglue in some places.

Personally, I agree wholeheartedly with the idea that @Sgt Falconer brought up regarding gathering intel being critical to completing the mission. That would add a challenge to the game on a strategic level, and in some cases non-'mission critical' intel (meaning important, but not necessary to 'win') such as locations of enemy assets that would change the gameplan of the commander/leader during the operation, would add to the mission in terms of enjoyment and realism. And @2ndLt Jones idea of a 'story' is (in my humble opinion) one of the most important aspects of immersion in the MILSIM experience. Having a believable story that is influenced by the actions/inactions of the individuals in the story should be the framework of every deployment, with failures and successes both being possible outcomes and both altering the course of the deployment. Having a 'go to A, clear B, extract at C' operation operation may be fun at times but is liable to becoming repetitive and boring. To be honest, LT stole the words out my mouth and said it better than I ever could. My two cents is a amalgamation of most of the opinions here. To put it bluntly: I want failure to be part of our operations. I want to get bad intel regarding enemy forces/etc and get bogged down in a nasty firefight. I want the possibility of failure to hang over my head every time we step off. In my opinion, it seems that every time we go out (with exceptions) we are 'destined' to win, no matter the cost. If consequences for failure were more dire, they encourage the team to work harder to win, and 'winning' tastes all the more sweet. I can expand on this as well, as to not take too much space. I hope the idea is clear, though. -

Date/Time: THURSDAY, 02AUG2018 @2000ET Additional Mods: These (Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1450137865 ) plus the 3rd MRB Mod List MINUS PREI KHMOACH LUONG. Step-Off Time: 0830 IGT Mission Brief: Evening, Raiders. As you well know by now, the Japs have been using mountain trails and crudely-constructed wooden bridges to ferry ammo, men, and supplies over the valleys, pinning our boys in place while their arty finishes us off. While the Army can twiddle their thumbs and wait for reinforcements at Tenaru, we don't have that kind of luxury. At 0830 tomorrow, you will step off from our fighting hole here and move on up the trail. Our mission is simple: we are going to do what we do best as Raiders. The Japanese think that they have full superiority over the front lines. They have set up a CP and resupply point in the village of Boridi, just a few klicks North of here. While the 3rd Marines set up a diversionary assault to the East, we will move to raid and destroy any and all supplies, vehicles, ammo, and Japs we find there. This compounded with the battle to come will give the Japs a supply shortage like no other, and we will make them regret ever coming here with the next phase. Phase two will be the destruction of the bridge the Japs build crossing the Boridi river, cutting off the bulk of the Jap Army to the North. With the monsoon season coming on within the next couple of days, the roads will wash out and Tojo will be left with his dick in his hand wondering why he ever wanted to tangle with the United States Marine Corps.
