    INTEL

    The start point for the operation will be at Airbase Savage, here the Pilots will pick up troops and transport them to Fire-base Vandergrift. The rotary Pilots will switch off between Transport (Slicks) and Gunships throughout the mission to ensure everyone has ample trigger time.

    The air-pad can only support only one chopper at a time and consideration must be taken into the order of landing. The infantry will be providing security at the fire base while the fire mission is conducted.

    Camp Sarge is the  largest base in the region, all foot patrols shall be conducted from this base.

    The Battle of Tarawa

    The Battle of Tarawa was a battle in the Pacific Theater of World War II that was fought from the 20th to 23rd of November 1943. It took place at the Tarawa Atoll in the Gilbert Islands, and was part of Operation GALVANIC, the U.S. invasion of the Gilbert's.

    We will be playing the role of the 2nd Marine Division, 3rd Battalion landing on Red Beach 1
