SO, this year, as last, your own local baby game designer attended the global game jam! I was at Another Castle, a game dev co-work space in Massachusetts, and I worked on a little game called Sonar. The theme this year was transmission, so it fits nicely! The idea is that you can't see the level, only through your sonar pings can you suss out whats where. I'm a bit brain-dead right now, so I'll end this here and say, enjoy! (We have builds for Windows, Mac, and Linux, so everyone should be covered.)
