Some people expressed interest in having a poker night, so I decided to organize something and see where it goes. Games will be played with play money. To start with there will be four tables and, if there's enough interest, we could do some monthly tournaments or something like that.

In order to participate you will need to:

• Download the PokerStars client software
• Create a free account (no credit card required to sign up) from within the client
• Join the 3d MRB Realism Unit Poker Club
• Post here saying you're interested

Current Tables:

1. No-Limits Hold 'Em, 6 players, $100/$200 stakes, $20,000 buy-in
2. No-Limits Hold 'Em, 6-players, $250/$500 stakes, minimum $20,000 buy-in
3. No-Limits Hold 'Em, Heads-up (1v1), $100/$200 stakes, $20,000 buy-in
4. No-Limits Hold 'Em, Heads-up, $250/$500 stakes, minimum $20,000 buy-in

 

TIPS:

1. To join the club on PokerStars, follow these instructions:
   • Log in to the client
   • Click on "Home Games" in the nav bar on the right hand side (you may need to click on the More button to see it if you're not in full screen)
   • Click on "Join a Poker Club"
   • Enter the Club ID and Invitation Code
   • Under Name enter the name you use here so I know who requested to join
2. Although you will start out with $50,000 in play money, you can receive an additional $12,500 every 4 hours. To do this, go to the Cashier menu (top right corner of the client) and under the Summary tab of the new window is an option to claim the free chips (right under Buy More Chips)
