Sgt (Ret) Livingston Posted February 12, 2017 It won't be branch wide change. it's meant to be a test of manufacturing. That's why only 11k are being put into service. I think the marines are still trying to fully swap to m4s from the transition in late 2015. SGT A. LIVINGSTON Retired 3d MRB, Marine Raider Regiment
1stLt (Ret) Hopp Posted February 22, 2017 Well there aren't that many CSOs in the entire Corps... 1STLT B. HOPP Retired MRB Command Staff (R)
Sgt (Ret) Heikinheimo Posted February 23, 2017 I doubt the CSOs would go for it anyway. Im sure they are available for them but i'd say there is a reason that they are not using it already. SGT J. HEIKINHEIMO Retired
2d Lt (Ret) Wendel Posted February 23, 2017 Didn't we just get a new contract from FN for M4s? Sounds like someone's burning money. 2NDLT B. WENDEL Retired
LtCol (Ret) Irwin Posted February 23, 2017 Don't believe everything you see and read on the internet! LTCOL W. IRWIN Retired MRB Command Staff (R)
