C. Frost Posted November 30, 2020 Age:20 (04AUG2000) First Name: Chris Last Name: Frost Steam Name: JarlFrosty Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/hyprvfrosty/ ArmA III Player ID: 76561198156027137 Desired Duty Assignment: 0372 (Marksman eventually) How Long have you been playing ArmA III: Since late 2017, I have over 2,910 hours on record Do you own Arma 3 Apex DLC? (Unit Requirement): Yes Availability (Sunday/Saturday/Both): Both, however, I'd rather play during Sundays. How did you find out about our unit? I found this unit through a member on Arma 3 Project Life who goes by the name Bailey Klein. If you were recruited by one of our members, who was it? Bailey Klein? (Sorry I don't know what his actual name is here, I know he's a SGT and a HM3.) Why do you want to join the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion? My friend has been trying to start a Marine Raider Battalion unit for a while and I sadly just feel no one there wants to truly put effort in. Due to that I wish to find an active unit that I can truly enjoy and do ops in. Units that have over 20 active members every op is something I look for, Bailey ensured me of that. I really want to join to experience big ops like I used to experience in the 173rd. Do you understand the definition of realism gaming according to the 3d MRB and willing to abide by this game style? Yes, I roleplay on many realistic servers. The only thing I kinda get turned off by realism MILSIMs is the whole "Yes Sir, No Sir" and calling people by their ranks. I believe that honor is for our men and women who currently serve/have served, not a virtual rank or tag. Do you understand this unit is EST(GMT -5) time zoned based. Operations take place on Saturday at 1500 EST and Sunday at 2000 EST. Yes, I live in New York which is EST :)
Capt Night Posted November 30, 2020 Mr. Frost, Application accepted. Within the next hour you will receive new forum permissions which will grant you access to the Welcome Aboard section with some general instructions to get you initially set up with our modpack. Next is to request your billet assignment in ITC & FMTB. There you can read basic information about each team and when operations and trainings normally take place. Once you have decided what billet works best for you make a post in Billet Selection with your first and second choice. Once assigned to a team you will need to check in with them and start your training. In Summary: Step 1. Review Welcome Aboard message and follow Instructions. Step 2. Sign up for an Billet. Note: Steps 1 and 2 are interchangeable. Step 3: Set your TeamSpeak name to your Rank plus your last name, only add your first initial if another member of the same name exist in the unit. You will be informed if this is needed Thank you and once again, welcome, Private. Respectfully Submitted, Sgt Night S-1 Personnel Detachment
