Due to the ongoing tensions with neighboring Serbia, this is also a deterrence operation. However, there are signs a fringe Serbian nationalist group may be intending to provoke conflict between Serbs living in Kosovo and the Kosovan government. The teams must be on the lookout for possible provocations or attacks by this group. 8312 had a hostile encounter with this group and they are willing to engage with lethal force.
