OPERATION ORDER

ORIENTATION: Serbian forces have invaded Kosovo and Montenegro. Currently, the reinforced Serbian 3rd Brigade is bearing down on us from the North, while the 4th Brigade pushes in from the East. Hostile fixed-wing is conducting CAS and limited CAP missions and Serbian helicopters have been constantly operating in the AO. The Kosovans have stated that they cannot hold for long, but they need to buy time for civilians to evacuate. Delay the Serbs for as long as possible. 

 

1. SITUATION

a. Enemy Forces
Size: Brigade
Activity:  Advancing along the MSRs heading South
Unit: Serbian 3rd Brigade

Time: 0400 24MAY21

Equipment: Small Arms, Tanks, APCs, IFVs, Motorized, Other Supporting Vehicles


 

b.Friendly Forces

The Kosovan 1st Infantry Battalion is attempting to slow the Serbian advance in the North but is badly outnumbered, outgunned, and stretched thin. The 2nd Battalion to the East is in a similar position. The 1st was able to detail a pair of M1117s to lead the charge against the exposed Serbian force.

2. MISSION
Alpha Company is attempting to slow the Serbian advance against the KSF in AO TITAN to buy time for civilians to evacuate

 

3. EXECUTION

 

a. Commander's Intent
Commander's intent is to provide infantry support for the Kosovan IFVs as they move against the SAM position and then the overexposed lead elements of the Serbs.

 

b. Concept of the Operation

MSOT 8313 is tasked with providing infantry support for the Kosovan IFVs


Additional tasking will be given in-field as determined as needed by command.

 

- Scheme of Maneuver

Hades will be transported via HELO to RP
Hades will move with IFVs and support as needed and able

 

 

- Fire Support Plan

160th SOAR via established JTAC Channels or Hades HQ/10 if no JTAC is present. 
 

c. Tasks

HQ will maintain comms with friendly forces & air assets
TAC 1 & 2 will be primary screening elements.
HQ will carry either 1xStinger or 1xJavelin Missile Systems
All elements are to carry maximum allowed AT (1x MAWWS or 4x Disposables)

Method of transporting will be done by aerial assets of the 160th SOAR or Technical variants.

 

-Supply

Rearm will be from Camp Caveman or delivered by the 160th.

Treated via self aid initially followed by SARCs

 

- Enemy Prisoners Of War (EPOWs)
Detain in as secure of a location as possible, conduct aid as needed, hand over to HQ at earliest opportunity.
