OPERATION ORDER

 

DATE OF OPERATION
OTL 11MAR23 - 1500 EST
IUT 30MAY21 - 1900 IGT

 

ORIENTATION: Serbian forces have invaded Kosovo and Montenegro. Currently, the Serbian 1st and 2nd Brigades are attempting to push from the North, but the Montenegrins are slowing their assaults. The 63rd Parachute and 72nd Special Operations Brigades are still operating in the area. Hostile fixed-wing is conducting CAS and limited CAP missions and Serbian helicopters have been constantly operating in the AO. We need to hold the Serbians in the mountains, or their forces can break out and overrun the reach of the country

 

1. SITUATION

Activity:  Conducting Security or Interrogation activities in & around OBJ PLIERS
Unit: Serbian 3rd Brigade

Time:  30MAY21 - 1900IGT

Equipment: Small Arms, Tanks, APCs, IFVs, Motorized, Other Supporting Vehicles


 

b.Friendly Forces

The Montenegrin 2nd Infantry Battalion is holding the area and slowing the Serbian advance but they are stretched thin. Montenegrin resistance forces are operating behind the lines and may be able to support friendly forces.

160th SOAR
Battleaxe 1-2 (Battery of 4x D-30 howitzers)

2. MISSION

Alpha Company (WHO) is attempting to slow the Serbian advance (WHAT) against the Montenegrins in AO ATLAS (WHERE) to buy time until the Truman Strike Group can arrive (WHY).

 

3. EXECUTION

 

a. Commander's Intent
Commander's intent is to liberate all held at OBJ PLIERS

 

b. Concept of the Operation

MSOT 8313 is tasked with liberating all those held in the interrogation center, designated OBJ PLIERS. In particular, the Mayor of Zuti kamen, who was captured yesterday. He was last seen wearing a black suit and tie, and was a member of the local resistance cell. 


Additional tasking will be given in-field as determined as needed by command.

 

- Scheme of Maneuver

Hades will be transported via HELO to LZ STONE north of Hill 392
Hades will move to RP THROW at top of Hill 392
Hades will conduct light recon and plot path to reduce chance of being spotted.
Hades will conduct assault
Liberated prisoners will be priority evacuated
Hades will EXFILL

 

 

- Fire Support Plan

160th SOAR via established JTAC/Air-Ground Channels or Hades HQ/10 if no JTAC is present. 
 

c. Tasks

HQ will maintain comms with friendly forces & air assets
TAC 1 & 2 will be primary screening elements.
HQ will carry either 1xStinger or 1xJavelin Missile Systems
All elements are to carry the maximum allowed AT (1x MAWWS or 4x Disposables)

Detain in as secure of a location as possible, conduct aid as needed, hand over to HQ at earliest opportunity.
