WARNO OPERATION SULTAN'S WRATH 03-25 MSOT 8313 HADES

WARNING ORDER
MSOT 8313 Hades

 

SITUATION: Legion is currently securing the C-130 Crash Site but has located additional hostile forces to their North on ISR. 160th SOAR has also reported multiple missile launches from this area. Hades is tasked with moving in and clearing the source of these launches and investigating the area for any possible Polisario Caches. 

 

ENEMY: The main OPFOR in this AO are Polisario Front forces. This insurgent group has made extensive use of hit-and-run tactics, as well as ditching equipment and attempting to blend in with the civilian populace. Force size, equipment, and exact tactics are unknown at this time. 

 

FRIENDLY:

16th Mechanized Brigade, Royal Moroccan Army

Royal Moroccan Air Force

Royal Moroccan Gendarmerie 

 

MISSION:

MSOT 8313 will Investigate Polisario Forces at the town IVO 040,157 as reported during Legions Operation.

160th SOAR will

Support MSOT 8313

Be ready for possible further tasking

 

COMMANDERS INTENT:
Investigate reported enemy forces in the area indicated by the C-130's Voice Recorder and 160th SOAR ISR.

 

RECONNAISSANCE:
160th SOAR "Rook" is currently over-top of the area and providing live ISR. Reconnaissance has spotted at least one to two Squads of armed individuals along with what appears to be an M163 Vulcan Mounted on an offroad truck. Exact positions to follow shortly.
