    MOS / Desired Duty Assignments

    0372 Critical Skills Operator The primary Combat Billet of MARSOC, CSOs operate in 5-man Combat Elements – roughly equivalent to a traditional Fire Team. At an entry level, CSOs can perform basic Machine Gun, Anti-Tank, and Assaulter roles within their Element After advanced training, CSOs gain additional Equipment Qualifications allowing them to perform additional roles such as MMG, Heavy AT, Anti-Air, E&D, DMR. CSOs also undergo special training with their team on advanced Insertion, Combative and Extraction techniques including Combat Diver, Military Free Fall, Small Boat Operations, Heliborne Assaults & Extraction, and Mobility Operations. HM-L11A Fleet Marine Force Reconnaissance Corpsman The primary Medical Billet of MARSOC, SARCs are Navy Corpsmen who are attached to MARSOC Combat Elements. SARCs are an Entry-Level billet and are responsible for providing medical care under fire to MARSOC personnel. SARCs must also be effective warfighters – and are qualified in the same advanced insertion, combative, and extraction techniques as CSOs. Medical is Highly Technical and mirrors real-world EMT & Combat Casualty Care with advanced techniques requiring dedicated training. These capabilities include Chest Seals, Tourniquets, IV/IO, Advanced Airway Techniques, Drug Administration including Epinephrine, Fentyanl, Ketamine and EACA 8002 Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) NO OPEN SLOTS The primary Ground-based Support Billet of MARSOC, JTACs are the direct line interface between an MSOT on the ground and the supporting 160th Helicopters in the Air JTACs provide MSOTs with a Major Force Multiplier – Allowing them to Rapidly Reposition, by using helicopters, much quicker than any other unit on the battlefield, and easily Destroy Massed Enemy and major threats through rapid Close Air Support. JTAC capabilities include Calling In Close Air Support, Coordinating Air Traffic, Combating Enemy Anti-Air Capabilities, Coordinating Rapid Redeployment for Ground Forces, Managing Sling Operations 003A Student Pilot, Rotary Wing Aviator The primary Aviation Billet attached to the 3d MRB, Rotary Wing Aviators are the pilots of the 160th SOAR. They provide Close Air Support along with Combat Transport and Logistics capabilities to MSOTs in the field with a variety of Airframes including the A/MH-6 Little Bird – MH-60 Direct Action Penetrator (DAP) – MH-47 Chinook. They perform their entire mission set under extreme conditions, usually at night, and while in close contact with enemy forces – They require an unparalleled level of personal drive and practice from individual aviators in order to be successful – It is the billet with the highest individual skill ceiling. Capabilities of Rotary Wing Aviators include Insertion & Extraction Under Fire, Pinnacle LZs & Contested Rooftop Insertions, Rapid Redeployment of Troops in Close Contact, Standoff Air Support, Close Air Support, Counter SAM/Radar, Terrain-Masked Radar Penetration, Hoist & Sling Load Operations

  3. 3d MRB Realism Unit New Join Policy Welcome to the 3d MRB Realism Unit! If you are interested in applying, make sure you meet the following requirements for joining. Minimum Age Required: 17 years old. Own a valid copy of ArmA 3 and a valid Player ID. (An invalid or missing Player ID will result in your application not being processed.) Own the Arma 3 Apex and Arma 3 Contact DLCs or are willing to acquire them the next time they are on a major sale Must have Teamspeak 3 and a working microphone. Ability to attend Unit-wide events, taking place on Sundays at 2000 Eastern Time or Saturdays at 1500 Eastern Time. (Applicant's Choice) We do not allow Dual Clanning with modern-day realism Units. (HALO, Star Wars, etc. are okay) Upon submitting an application, all applicants will be required to provide a valid first and last name. You are not required to provide your real first or last name. If you choose a fictional name, it must meet the following guidelines: Must be a realistic name Must be a name easily locatable in a phone book It may not be a celebrity/pop culture-inspired name It may not be a name with a historical reference (e.g: Napoleon, Rommel) You must also Read & Understand the Definition of Realism Gaming according to the 3d MRB Realism Unit: The 3d MRB is a Realisim Unit. By applying, you are accepting a realistic environment as the way you want to play ArmA 3. When involved in official unit activities you will be expected to role-play yourself, were you a member of the military, at the same rank, billet etc. that you are in the unit, and behave realistically according to the virtual situation you find yourself in. Outside of official functions, you are not required to maintain this bearing. When you meet the requirements, please submit an application using our Application Form. If all the information provided is correct, your application will be processed within 24 - 48 hours. Please be patient while you wait for your application to be processed.   4. You are required to provide your ARMA 3 Player Identification Number (PID) in your application. This is a number unique to every copy of ARMA 3. To find your Player Identification Number you will first need to launch the game just as you would normally. Once Arma 3 launches to the menu screen click on the Profile icon, as indicated in the following picture Select your profile and click on EDIT, as shown in the following picture Now, click on the UNIT tab, as shown in the picture. Your ArmA 3 PID will be indicated in the area marked in red. (Note: If you haven't set up a new Player Profile the default profile will be displayed as your Computer Username) Please take special care to copy the PID exactly as it is shown. Providing an invalid Player ID in your application will result in a hold being placed on your application until a valid PID is provided.
