Light Venezuelan infantry has been seen in the town of Gran Callao, as well as members of the Los Chacales Cartel. Airmobile troops and light aircraft have been spotted at the St. George’s Airstrip South of the town and mechanized forces have been seen to the East in the city of Marilla e. MSOT 8313 is tasked with securing the bank building (OBJ MORGAN) in the town of Gran Callao, destroying any and all Los Chacales Cartel assets. And detaining the bank manager for interrogation. We have reliable intelligence that the Venezuelans have reached a deal with the cartel where in exchange for the Venezuelan military aiding in their drug smuggling efforts, the cartel will use their connections on the island to influence or coerce the majority of the islanders to support the annexation on the island. Dealing significant damage to the cartel’s assets on the island will likely deter them from following through on the agreement. ::TS:SCI::NOTICE OF DEPLOYMENT::TS:SCI:: - September 14th, 2021
Capt Boyle posted a topic in News and Articles
//SECRET//JSOC//MARSOC From: [email protected] <Clark Williams> To: [email protected] <Sean Whelan> Subject: Notice of Deployment All Commands and Attachments are hereby notified that Alpha Company, 3d MRB; Alpha Section, 160th SOAR, and all supporting detachments are to prepare for immediate deployment to the country of San Esperito. All commands are to ensure OPSEC through rank and file. Deployment for all commands is required no later than September 14th. Briefing as follows. Last month the small Caribbean island nation of San Esperito fell victim to a coup by hardline elements of the defense force, which intelligence has now determined was backed by the Venezuelan government. While initially a diplomatic matter, the situation has escalated within the past 48 hours. The Venezuelan Navy landing ships ARBV Goajira and ARBV Capana and the Panamanian-flagged civilian cargo ship Aurora docked at the island's main port on September 12th at approximately 0530 local time. Communication off the island was suddenly cut just before the ship's arrival but we have been able to determine that these ships brought with them the bulk of the 3rd Marine Brigade (Amphibious) of the Venezuelan Bolivarian Marine Corps. An estimated 2,500 troops, 30-35x AAVP-7A1 APCs, 10x VN-1 IFVs, at least 2x MT-LBM 6MB IFVs, and numerous other vehicles were deployed onto the island. Radar has picked up several helicopters and small aircraft heading to the island from the Venezuelan mainland. There were gaps in satellite coverage, so further equipment may have been offloaded. The 3rd Marine Brigade (Amphibious) is composed of two marine infantry battalions and an artillery battalion with an anti-air company equipped with Strela-10s and RBS-70s. Prior to this development, a dozen American citizens were on the island and given the apparent intent of the Venezuelan and San Esperito governments to ignore all diplomatic outreaches to extract our citizens, the President has authorized the use of any and all force necessary to get them off the island and return the legitimate government to power. The 3d MRB and 160th SOAR will immediately halt all training activity at Camp Blanding and deploy to the USS Farragut, which is sailing North of the island. Your objective is to secure all US citizens and degrade Venezuelan force strength in preparation for a follow-on Marine Expeditionary Unit which should be on station within four days and ready to make landfall by the fifth. The 149th Fighter Squadron will provide air cover out of Muñiz Air National Guard Base in Puerto Rico. Due to the dense population centers, fixed-wing air strikes have been prohibited by the White House for now. The mission has been designated Operation Guiding Light. Signed, Lieutenant Colonel C. Williams Commanding Joint Special Task Force Cobra Attachments AO MAINE.jpg Satellite.jpg -

WARNING ORDER MSOT 8311 1. SITUATION. a. Overview: Serbian forces have invaded Kosovo and Montenegro, and the US has intervened. Currently, the Serbian 1st and 2nd Brigades are retreating as the Montenegrins counterattack along the frontlines. The 63rd Parachute Brigade has largely fled the area, but the 72nd Special Operations Brigade is still in the AO. Hostile aviation has largely been eliminated, though there may be a few Serbian helicopters still in the AO. We are conducting operations to aid the Montenegrins in liberating their territory. b. The Area of Interest is the Northeast portion of the AO. c. Area of Operations is AO ATLAS. The terrain is hills and small mountains with dense forests and urban areas. Weather is expected to be clear with a low chance of rain. The time will be 0500 on the 10th of June. d. Weather is expected to be clear with a low chance of rain. The time will be 2200 on the 6th of June. d. Enemy Forces Serbian 1st Brigade is attempting to pull back from their more exposed positions on the West side of the river while the 2nd Brigade is trying to hold onto the East side. The force consists of armored, mechanized, motorized, artillery, and airmobile forces that have all been seen in the AO. However, resistance activity and our airstrikes have limited their options for withdrawal. At least 2 companies of the 11th Infantry and 17th Mechanized Battalions are attempting to retreat through the large swamp near Bare. The Navy destroyed the bridge through the swamp, but the Serbs are attempting to repair it and are using civilian workers and some of their few remaining air defenses to prevent a follow-up strike. e. Friendly Forces The Montenegrin 2nd Infantry Battalion is advancing North with our support. They have concentrated their forces and are pushing along the MSRs. Montenegrin resistance forces are operating behind the lines and have established a base on the North side of the swamp from which the team can rally and acquire light vehicles. Carrier Air Wing One is on standby if necessary, though it is currently tasked with strikes against Serbian forces in Kosovo. An AC-130 flying out of Spain will be available to provide fire support once the air defenses are suppressed. An RQ-4 will be conducting high-altitude reconnaissance of the area as well. f. MSOT 8312 is tasked with cutting off the Serbian attempt to retreat North along the West side of the river through the swamp. The area is designated OBJ VERDUN. Priority targets are any air defenses, with the goal of capturing any bridging equipment intact, but destroying it if necessary. Once those are dealt with, the team is to inflict as much damage upon the Serbian forces as possible. A significant defeat of these troops will open a path for the Montenegrin 2nd Battalion to rapidly advance North. There is a reported civilian presence near the destroyed bridge, so be careful with fires and confirm your targets. Additional tasking will be given in-field as determined as needed by Roundtable. WARNING ORDER MSOT 8311 1. SITUATION. a. Overview: Serbian forces have invaded Kosovo and Montenegro, and the US has intervened. Currently, the Serbian 1st and 2nd Brigades are attempting to hold their positions and consolidate their gains, but the Montenegrins are preparing to counterattack. The 63rd Parachute Brigade has largely fled the area, but the 72nd Special Operations Brigade is still in the AO. Hostile aviation has largely been eliminated, though there may be a few Serbian helicopters still in the AO. We are beginning operations to aid the Montenegrins in preparing to liberate their territory. b. The Area of Interest is near the town of Dencity. c. Area of Operations is AO ATLAS. The terrain is hills and small mountains with dense forests and urban areas. Weather is expected to be clear with a low chance of rain. The time will be 0330 on the 4th of June. d. Enemy Forces. Serbian 1st Brigade is attempting to hold on the West side of the river while the 2nd Brigade is digging on the East side. The force consists of armored, mechanized, motorized, artillery, and airmobile forces that have all been seen in the AO. The 2nd Brigade has set up an HQ and forward artillery position in the town of Dencity and is putting heavy fire on the Southern front. A combination of MLRS and SRBM (Short-Range Ballistic Missile) batteries are located in the area surrounding the city, as are AA positions. Motorized and mechanized QRFs are likely in the area, and a sizable force is assembled on the front lines to the South. e. Friendly Forces The Montenegrin 2nd Infantry Battalion is holding the area and preparing to advance with our support. They are stretched thin but are beginning to concentrate their forces. A mechanized force with some donated equipment is being prepared in the South. Montenegrin resistance forces are operating behind the lines and will help if able. MSOT 8311 is tasked with seizing control of the Serbian forward HQ and hijacking the Serbian SRBM battery. From interrogations with the POW Viking brought in, we have secured command codes for the Serbian Field Artillery Tactical Data System, which will allow 8311 to remotely target the SRBMs and turn them against the Serbs. 8311 will need to take the command station intact and hold the position while the coordinates are uploaded. The target for the SRBMs will be a Serbian FOB not far from the frontlines to the South. Once the missiles are fired, 8311 will need to ensure the SRBM launchers destruction along with any nearby MLRS. After that, 8311 is tasked with aiding the Montenegrin force to the South advance. Additional tasking will be given in-field as determined as needed by Roundtable. Map of AO ATLAS as of 0400 8311 AO OBJ SATURN via satellite Serbian Command Station SS-21 Sacarb SRBMs 4. WARNING ORDER MSOT 8312 1. SITUATION. a. Overview: Serbian forces have invaded Kosovo and Montenegro, and the US has intervened. Currently, the Serbian 1st and 2nd Brigades are attempting to hold their positions and consolidate their gains, but the Montenegrins are preparing to counterattack. The 63rd Parachute and 72nd Special Operations Brigades are still operating in the area. Hostile fixed-wing has largely been grounded by allied CAP, though Serbian helicopters are still ducking in and out between the mountains in the AO. We need to begin operations to aid the Montenegrins in preparing to liberate their territory. b. The Area of Interest is the airfield in the Northeast. c. Area of Operations is AO ATLAS. The terrain is hills and small mountains with dense forests and urban areas. Weather is expected to be clear with a low chance of rain. The time will be 1845 on the 2nd of June. d. Enemy Forces. Serbian 1st Brigade is attempting to hold on the West side of the river while the 2nd Brigade is digging on the East side. The force consists of armored, mechanized, motorized, artillery, and airmobile forces that have all been seen in the AO. The 63rd Parachute Brigade is currently redeploying its forces away from the frontlines in an attempt to limit its losses. They are based at the airfield in the Northeast of the AO with at least two remaining companies and several helicopters. Serbian checkpoints have been established throughout the occupied territory. e. Friendly Forces The Montenegrin 2nd Infantry Battalion is holding the area and preparing to advance with our support. WARNING ORDER MSOT 8311 & 8312 1. SITUATION. a. Overview: Serbian forces have invaded Kosovo and Montenegro. Currently, the reinforced Serbian 3rd Brigade is bearing down on us from the North, while the 4th Brigade pushes in from the East. Hostile fixed-wing is conducting CAS and limited CAP missions and Serbian helicopters have been constantly operating in the AO. The Kosovans have stated that they cannot hold for long, but they need to buy time for civilians to evacuate. Delay the Serbs for as long as possible. b. The Area of Interest is the city of Beketov. c. Area of Operations is AO TITAN. The terrain is low hills with urban areas. Weather is expected to be clear with a low chance of rain. The time will be 1500 on the 24th of May. d. Enemy Forces. Serbian 3rd Brigade has reached the outskirts of the city from the North. The 4th Brigade is closing in as well from the East. The force consists of armored, mechanized, motorized, artillery, and airmobile forces that have all been seen in the AO advancing South. Several thrusts are moving toward the city from the North and East of the city. The city is the primary strategic objective for Serbian forces in the area. They will not stop until this city is taken, intact or not. e. Friendly Forces What’s left of the Kosovan 1st and 2nd Infantry Battalions are attempting to slow the Serbian advance in the North but they are on their last legs. This is their final stand. What’s left of their armor is gone, the last of their mortars are in their final positions, and their two remaining AA guns are dug in. Several Kosovan Units have set up in defensive positions on the North side of the city. They will hold until the end. f. Attachments and Detachments 160th SOAR 2. MISSION. Alpha Company (WHO) is attempting to slow the Serbian advance (WHAT) against the KSF in AO TITAN (WHERE) to buy time for civilians to evacuate (WHY). 3. EXECUTION. a. Concept of Operations. MSOT 8311 is tasked with reaching OBJ Traffic and rescuing the First Deputy Prime Minister. His convoy was ambushed and pinned down before they could get to the city. He has been selected to lead the Kosovan Government-in-Exile and must get to the Evac Point at all costs. His escort is currently pinned down and needs support. They report heavy Serb reinforcements inbound through the forest. 8311 will then support the Kosovans in the Northeast of the city. MSOT 8312 is tasked with destroying OBJ Light, the power station to the North of the city. The Kosovans need it blown to cripple the coming Serbian occupation. The Serbs are moving down the MSR with armor and will reach the city soon. 8312 is to do as much damage to the armored vanguard as possible before they reach the city. They are to then fall back to Kosovan defensive positions in the Northwest of the city and support their forces. Both teams are to hold the Serbs back until the order to evacuate is given. The code phrase for this is "JENGA, JENGA, JENGA". Once the order is given, they are to pull back to the Evac Point and board any available helicopter to extract to Montenegro in the West. Additional tasking will be given in-field as determined as needed by Roundtable. Map of AO TITAN as of 1500 Beketov AO 4. SUSTAINMENT. a.
