Loyalty of Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons in Question - ADA News - December 14th 2019
Capt Boyle posted a topic in News and Articles
Loyalty of Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons in Question ADA News Dateline: December 14th 2019 On Friday of last week, there was a suicide bombing in the Punjab region of Pakistan, near the Sargodha Central Ammunition Depot that claimed six lives and wounded eighteen more. In and of itself, this bombing was not uncommon for the region, nor was it entirely unexpected after Pakistan security forces had conducted a counterterrorism sweep of the region that had left 58 suspected Lashkar-e-Islam militants dead. The surprising aspect of this attack were its victims. Two of the dead were Saudi nationals, both of which were tied to Saudi Arabia’s nascent civilian nuclear program, and three of the wounded were members of the Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force. Picture: Saudi ballistic missile forces during an exercise Questions have been raised as to why these men were in the area in the first place, especially when no such visit was publicly announced and the Saudis appeared to be driving without an escort. Many analysts have pointed to the fact that the attack occurred near where Pakistan stores its nuclear weapons, and that the Saudis have recently increased funding for their ballistic missile program, without the development of the weapons systems that make ballistic missiles effective, namely nuclear weapons. Some have suggested the closeness of Saudi and Pakistani militaries and political leaders is a sign that the two may have an agreement on the sharing of technology, and even weaponry, which raises concerns about the already unstable region. In next month's entry in the SCP universe, the adventures of MTF Omega-2 "SNAFU" continue in Eastern Europe, where something is abducting villagers in the woods. Start time is 1930 EST, Saturday 3/6/2021 Modpack: Normal modpack plus https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2262255106 An anomalous entity has been detected in Chernarus. MTF Omega-2 "SNAFU" has been dispatched to investigate and contain the anomaly. More info at bottom. MTF Omega-2 Team HQ: Radio 2 Team Leader: 2nd Lt. Mira Team Chief: SSgt O'Brien Team Medic: 2nd Lt. Night Team Comms Chief: Maj. Limited reports from local authorities indicate that the SCP appears to be either bullet-resistant or incredibly quick. Impact absorbent body armor is being deployed to MTF Omega-2 "SNAFU" as they move into the area, along with heavy caliber weapons, large-capacity magazines, and explosives. Description: SCP-942 is an unknown entity at this time, with no detailed description available. This anomaly is believed to be responsible for the disappearance of a small town and several local forces sent to investigate. Below is a transcript of Chernarus military radio transmissions after going to investigate the town of Olsha, believed to be the victim of an attack by the anomaly, designated SCP-942. "This is Alfa team, we have arrived at Olsha. We see at least one civilian body and the police car appears abandoned. We-wait one command" A low growl is heard at the end of this transmission. "Is that a-did you see that? Uh, Command I think there's someone running around in the woods, moving to investigate." "Copy Alfa team, keep us posted". There is radio silence from the team for two minutes before they call again, this time in a panic. "Shit, shit, shit! What the fuck was that?! [GUNSHOTS] Let's get the fuck out of he-[HEAVY IMPACT]" Transmit key is depressed for an additional 3 minutes, intermittent screaming alongside audio that analysis matches to a carcass being consumed by at least one large predator are heard. Attempts by Chernarussian Command to raise the team meet with no response for two and a half minutes until a request for check in was met with unintelligible grunting, followed by the termination of the transmission after something struck the radio. Further investigation is required.

Shhhh, you saw nothing. Also I never claimed I was able to read, everyone just assumed.

Alright, I'll be testing the mission later this week. I'll do limited healing with Zeus, so the medics will have something to do besides run from what stalks the woods. There will be spots available for last-minute sign-ups, so feel free to ask, conscript, kidnap, or blackmail your friends to join. Also, if you can stream and/or record, I 100% present recommend you do so so we can all see everyone's high-pitched screams and friendly-fire incidents.

Grab your NVGs and mount your Humvees boys and girls, we're hunting an SCP! Start time is 1930 EST, Saturday 2/6/2021 Modpack: Normal modpack plus https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2262255106 An anomalous entity has been detected on the island of Altis. MTF Omega-2 "SNAFU" has been dispatched to investigate and contain the anomaly before it reaches population centers. More info at bottom. MTF Omega-2 Team HQ Team Leader: SSgt Spears Team Chief/JTAC: SSgt McMuster Team Medic: 2nd Lt. Mira Element 1: Dakka Bois Element Leader: LCpl Wilcox Assistant EL: Sgt Rougthvedt Medic: SSgt O'Brien CSO: LCpl Elliot CSO: LCpl Shepard Element 2: The Jerseyans Element Leader: Sgt Talbert Assistant EL: Cpl Jordan Medic: HM3 Peach CSO: Cpl T. Jordan CSO: Sgt Bianco Element 3: Element Leader: Assistant EL: WOC Wade Medic: CSO: LCpl Winters CSO: PFC Young Aviation, MTF Guardian-1: Pilot: Sgt. Flick Pilot: Of note: Medics are not a requirement, as your impact-resistant body armor (Zeus) should help you get back up soon after you're downed, as long as the anomaly has been dealt with Item #: SCP-6784 Object Class: Keter Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6784 is currently an unknown entity that has been detected on the island of Altis in the Mediterranean. Limited reports from local authorities indicate that it appears to take damage from bullet wounds. Attempts by local police forces to communicate and then restrain SCP-6784 showed no results other than the loss of life of all present. Impact absorbent body armor is being deployed to MTF Omega-2 "SNAFU" as they move into the area, along with heavy caliber weapons and large-capacity magazines. Description: SCP-6784 is a humanoid entity covered in thick fur with what appears a male deer skull where the head should be. SCP-6784 appears to have extreme strength, reflexes, speed, and substantial resistance to damage. An examination of the video taken of SCP-6784 determined that it is capable of speeds of approximately 45 kph and striking targets with lethal force in a single blow. Bullets seemed to slow SCP-6784 to a degree, and a substance assumed to be an equivalent to blood is seen being sprayed out around bullet impacts. No other anomalous abilities have been seen as of yet, but cannot be discounted until the anomaly can be contained and studied. Extreme caution is advised when approaching SCP-6784.

Squad 1, Fireteam 1 Leader pls -
Apologies, I have to push this back to next weekend, Saturday the 23rd, same time 2000 EST
-
So due to some testing (and to increase the spook), I have determined that the MTF will only receive one pair of NVGs per element. Everyone else will be using flashlights.
-
There are no limits on what you carry into battle, as long as it's semi-realistic (no minigun, anti-material rifle, etc.). Feel free to take SMGs, shotguns, rifles, and MGs, though black ones will make you look cooler. Do not expect the ability to engage effectively at long range.

Bait is such an ugly word. I prefer expendable reconnaissance.

It probably had something to do with the song Erika playing in the background or the fact that "Ubermensch" was in the title

Mission Accomplished, the Allies have been pushed back and our glorious Faust Squad was the spearhead that led us to a great victory!
-
Addendum: Apparently starting the engine any form of armor in IFA3 causes the game to crash, so until I or anyone else can figure out how to fix this, I will unfortunately be forced to take armor out of this op. I believe it's something to do with the tank engine noises, but I'm not sure. However, I have encountered no issues yet with halftracks, so you will have mechanized support. Apologies @SSgt Spears and @LCpl Wilcox, you will have to choose a new role in the meantime. I'll be editing the mission difficulty accordingly.

Also the fancier the uniform, the more fire you draw. If I see Hugo Boss' 1944 Fall fashion line as the Americans, you're gonna be my main target.
-
Very well, Herr @Maj Whelan, but remember to deal with the prisoners after we get information from them.

Bear 1 Gunner please followed by Misfit 2 team lead or Auto Rifleman. Gib BMP/BTR

As the Fighting Still Lingers in Chernarus, Americans Remain on Frontlines Grand Central Times - November 27th, 2019 Though the threat of full-scale conflict between the United States and the Russian Federation has passed with the withdrawal of Russian forces from Chernarus, the fighting has not completely ended here. During my time in the country I was able to interview several civilians and military officers, including some of the US advisors still deployed there in the Military Assistance Command, Chernarus (MACC). Lost in the news of the Stockholm Talks were reports of retribution killings by DPRC holdouts on those who were deemed to be traitors because they accepted the return on the legitimate government. At least 40 civilians are believed to have been killed in the past week, and there are still military engagements occurring on a regular basis. Pictured: US MACC Advisor (center) conferring with CDF officer at a checkpoint While I was embedded with a team from the MACC we came under fire on several occasions while the team attempted to make contact with CDF troops on patrol. I saw several Americans wounded in the fighting, though I was later informed that those same troops had recovered from their injuries and were still providing assistance to CDF. The amount of fighting still going on here has raised questions about how sincere the Stockholm Talks were. One of the Americans, who wished to be identified only as 'Master Sergeant Attila' for security purposes, even stated that they didn’t believe the Russians have completely left, saying that Spetsnaz troops are believed to still be operating in the country, despite Russia supposedly pulling out of the country. Whatever the truth of the situation is, it is doubtful it will be a peaceful recovery of this small European country. By William McAvoy Grand Central TImes

**Priority Traffic** To All Forces in the Chernarussian Area of Operations **Priority Traffic**
Capt Boyle posted a topic in News and Articles
**Priority Traffic** **Priority Traffic** **Priority Traffic** Date: Nov. 26th, 2019 FROM: USEURCOM TO: ALL FORCES IN THE CHERNARUS AREA OF OPERATIONS The CDF has recovered documents from DPRC safehouses and interrogations pointing at several possible safehouses being used across Chernarus as staging points for Spetsnaz to operate out of. At least one engagement, the loss of a CDF convoy carrying supplies to COP Hammer, has been confirmed as a Spetsnaz attack, as the level of sophistication is far above anything the DPRC resistance has demonstrated prior to this action. Several sightings by the CDF of unidentified hostile personnel have been reported near the Cherno-Russian border moving deeper into Chernarus, and only engage when attempts at capture are made. Evidence collected from sources on the ground and SIGINT intercepted in the AO has suggested that the 23rd Special Purpose Brigade under the GRU is currently being used as the main force operating in the country, but the information is limited at this time. The following towns are suspected of having a Spetsnaz presence: Tulga, Kumyrna, Prigorodki. -
What happens when @MSgt Falconer is stuck at the back of the convoy
