Capt (Ret) Koch Posted February 14, 2017 Anyone here got SWAT 4 from GOG? It's pretty cheap - would be cool to try and set up multiplayer if it still works. For reference on Gog: https://www.gog.com/game/swat_4_gold_edition CAPT A. KOCH Retired MRB Command Staff (R)
Capt (Ret) Bazarnicki Posted February 14, 2017 I have a physical copy somewhere, probably lost to time, but SWAT 4 is great. Basically a predecessor to Siege. I think the MP was through Gamespy? Seems like it might still work through direct IP connections. I heard something about community made replacement game browsers. I'd totally be down for this though. CAPT W. BAZARNICKI Retired
Capt (Ret) Koch Author Posted February 14, 2017 I found out someone made a mod to up the fidelity on textures etc a bit - downloading it and giving it a test. If it works alright, I'll add it to the main post! CAPT A. KOCH Retired MRB Command Staff (R)
Maj (Ret) Whitby Posted February 14, 2017 http://www.moddb.com/mods/sheriffs-special-forces-realism-mod This is the best mod out there. Has a launcher including other mods you can download some awesome COOP scenarios. Kind of like ACE mod when it comes to features. MAJ J. WHITBY Retired MRB Command Staff (R)
T. Cole Posted February 14, 2017 (edited) I still play the shit out of an obtained copy, I'll look into getting it off GoG now that it's actually officially for sale somewhere. Coop is super fun, I'd love to play. We've always had the most success playing it through GameRanger. Edited February 14, 2017 by LCpl Cole
Capt (Ret) Koch Author Posted February 15, 2017 I can try to put something together eventually, maybe this weekend? CAPT A. KOCH Retired MRB Command Staff (R)
