LINE 9 -- EXECUTION INTENT

FIND AND DESTROY ENEMY FORCE AND EQUIPMENT

a. CONCEPT

10th ACB and 3d MRB will deploy from the Cao Bang Airbase to investigate suspected enemy locations and destroy enemy equipment on 01JUL17 @

b. MAN TASKS

10th ACB will Air assault into an LZ cleared by the 3d MRB and then will proceed to clear Suspected and Known NVA and VC Strongholds

c. CS TASKS

Provide Fire Support via Mortars, Howitzers, and Self-Propelled Guns. AVN assets will provide CAS and CAP for friendly ground forces.

d. INSTRUCTIONS Comms will be distributed before operation commences. 

(1) CCIR Find Information that may provide information to enemy operations or caches

(2) Risk MGT Minimize casualties to allow easy mission completion

(3) Deception 3d MRB will HALO in to allow for the diversion for 10th ACB to air assault into the AO

(4) Priorities Clear AAA Sites, Search possible intel sites, destroy enemy fortifications and caches

(5) Time Line 3 - 4 hours past SP time

(6) Rehearsals N/A

(7) Orders GRP MTG N/A

(8) Earliest MVMT TIME 2115
