After arriving in the Diyala Province of Iraq, Operation Tomahawk is launched; A US led Task Force consisting of the United States Marine Corps 2/5 "Raiders or Marauders", and the Marine Special Operations Command's MSOT 8222 "Dagger 22". As well as supporting elements from the 160th SOAR and the 16th Special Operations Wing. Tomahawks main focus for the U.S. Government is to push ISIL out of the Diyala Province. After arriving at Airbase Sayan established weeks prior by U.S. Army Pathfinders and Air Force CCPs, MSOT 8222 will then travel to Forward Operating Base Independence. This FOB will act as the main HQ for the MSOT. The 160th SOAR will also operate out of Independence. Shortly after arriving at FOB Independence, the first mission will be conducted the following morning. READ BOTTOM OF PAGE FOR DATES & TIMES. MODS: -Standard 3d MRB Mod Pack - Diyala Map - Syrian & Iraq Conflict Load Order has no preference. Ignore all dependencies given by mods. (i.e. CUP Core) Mission 01: With the United States initial arrival in Diyala, not much is known at the current point in time. Only spotty intelligence from ISR Predators that have been conducting reconnaissance for the past few weeks. A CIA Informant Code name "Eagle", has been operating undercover and gathering intelligence from ISIS Forces inside the city of Khan Sa'ad. A predetermined meeting with Eagle has been established inside of Khan Bani Bazaar. A team of Two (2) Operators will dress in civilian attire and approach the market via Unmarked Civilian Vehicle. Once inside and intel has been retrieved, the team is then to EXFIL ASAP. a team of Operators with Heavy Vehicles and SOAR elements will be on QRF Standby if anything may go wrong. Reference the 5 Paragraph Order below for further mission details as well as Surveillance Images. START SMEAC I. Situation A. Enemy Forces Enemy Composition: Unclear in Khan Sa'ad, it is suspected that multiple cells are inside of the city. Enemy Capabilities: Reinforced positions likely, large groups of attackers may be present. Enemy's Most Likely Course Of Action: If spotted, ISIS forces will try and surround the marketplace. Entrapping all personnel. Enemy's Most Dangerous Course of Action: ISIS forces may utilize IEDs and Armor around a civilian populous. B. Friendly Forces Higher's Mission: Gather intelligence & disrupt ISIL operations in Diyala. Adjacent Units: 2/5 will be on station if needed. Supporting: 160th SOAR, 16th SOW. C. Attachments/Detachment N/A D. Civil/Terrain Considerations Civilians will be present inside the marketplace and city. Use of AT Rockets And/or 40mm must be approved by Team HQ. II. Mission Who, What, Where, When, and Why? Who: MSOT 8222 and Supporting Air Assets. What: Make Contact will informant and gain intel. When: 1300 IGT. Where: City of Khan Sa'ad, Khan Bani Bazaar. Why: Disrupt ISIL activity in Iraq. III. Execution A. Commander's Intent Enter the target area undetected, move swiftly to acquire the mission objective and EXFIL. B. Concept of the Operations Scheme of Maneuver: MSOT 8222 Team 1 (Intel Team) will push to marketplace. Team 2 (QRF) will push to QRF staging area and await further tasking. Once Intel has been retrieved Team 1 and 2 will return to FOB Independence and pass intel up to High Command. Fire Support Plan: Air Support will be limited to 1x Little Bird if necessary. C. Tasks Retrieve critical intelligence from "Eagle". D. Coordinating Instructions FOB Independence (033, 079) Market (009, 063) QRF Staging Area (006, 075) IV. Administration & Logistics A. Administration EPWs will be held by Team HQ then transported to FOB Independence. Medevac will be on Standby if Required. Civilians will be verbally warned, if violence ensues or if your or your teammates life is in danger, deadly force is authorized. B. Logistics Equipment is at Team's discretion. V.
