Context:

Immediately after arriving on the carrier group at 1745 IGT, set to arrive at its final position in Altis at 1845 IGT, MSOTs 8313 and 8321 are briefed alongside their attached CJSOAC Headquarters by General Thomas Godfrey. He details the situation on the island, the disposition of U.S. Personnel on the island, and gives the MSOTs mission tasking. At the conclusion of the briefing at 1820 IGT MSOT 8313 is told to prepare to step off immediately to track down their mission objective. MSOT 8321 is told that they will be stepping off as soon as the sun goes down, approximately 1945 IGT. What follows is the briefing itself.
