Netley Posted August 6, 2019 First Name: Ryan Last Name: Netley Age: 18 Desired Duty Assignment: HM-8403 Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman ArmA III Player ID: 76561198050565933 Steam Name: Ryan Netley Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/ryannetley How long have you been playing ArmA III?: Since Alpha 2012 or 13 if I can recall, 2649 Hours on record Are you currently a member of an ArmA III gaming clan or unit?: No How did you find out about us?: Arma 3 Units page then Youtube watching operations and various videos If you were recruited by one of our members, who was it?: No Why do you want to join the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion?: I want to join the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion because I have only ever been a part of semi-realistic Milsim units I have never had the opportunity or the privilege to join a Realism unit because of time constraints or work but now I have recently retired from a previous unit on good terms and I am looking to finally try my hand at a Realism Unit and maybe learn a whole lot more than many of my other casual units, skills that potentially I can translate into future games as well as fundamentals. (I don't quite know if this is relevant to why I want to join but I just want to add some extra information) I also believe I will be able to bring to the table my accumulation of hours and various units tactics to help support whoever I am with to ensure everyone is safe and able to continue on operations, I haven't ever been a propper medic though I have received some training on the ACE system but I am new-ish to all the different variables e.g. Blood Pressure, Response when to push various medicines etc. Availability (Sundays/Saturdays/Both): Both Do you understand that if you have selected a MOS that is full at your completion of ITC, you may have to go to a different MOS for the time being?: Yes Do you understand that you will be required to own Arma 3 Apex DLC in order to actively participate in the unit?: Yes Do you understand the definition of realism gaming according to the 3d MRB, and is this the type of realism experience you desire and are willing to abide by?: Yes Have you read and understood the requirements for our unit and the criteria for being active and taking a billet in this unit and that failure to complete said criteria will place you into the reserve platoon?: Yes Do you understand the fact that this unit is an EST (GMT -5) time zone based unit, and unit-wide operations take place on Sundays at 2000 EST (0200CET), or Saturdays at 1500EST (2100CET)?: Yes One additional note, I was primarily looking for Aviation Roles for Fixed Wing I would have loved to get involved with that side of things having 190 hrs in the DCS F/A18, 130 hrs in the DCS AV8B but I chose HM-8403 Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman because I wanted to try something new, but in the future if a Role opens in the Fixed Wing department would I be able to transfer? SSgt (Ret) Hall Posted August 6, 2019 @PFC Netley, Application accepted. Within the next hour you will receive new forum permissions which will grant you access to the Welcome Aboard section with some general instructions to get you initially set up with our modpack. Next is to request your team assignment in ITC & FMTB. There you can read basic information about each team and when operations and trainings normally take place. Once you have decided what team works best for you make a post in Team Selection with your first and second choice. Once assigned to a team you will need to check in with them and start your training. In Summary: Step 1. Review Welcome Aboard message and follow Instructions. Step 2. Sign up for an Team. Note: Steps 1 and 2 are interchangeable. Regarding your question about aviation, we do have an auxiliary aviation. Which will allow members of the ground team to fill-in with aviation when your team is not on operation. Once you become a full member feel free to PM me for more information. Thank you and once again, welcome, Private. Respectfully Submitted, Capt Hall Recruiting Office Detachment
