MSOT 8313
 
1. SITUATION.

 

a. Overview: Serbian forces have invaded Kosovo and Montenegro. Currently, the Serbian 1st and 2nd Brigades are attempting to push from the North, but the Montenegrins are slowing their assaults. The 63rd Parachute and 72nd Special Operations Brigades are still operating in the area. Hostile fixed-wing is conducting CAS and limited CAP missions and Serbian helicopters have been constantly operating in the AO. We need to hold the Serbians in the mountains, or their forces can break out and overrun the reach of the country

 

 

b. The Area of interest is the town of Krupac. 

 

c. Area of Operations is AO ATLAS.

 

• The terrain is hills and small mountains with dense forests and urban areas.
• Weather is expected to be cloudy with a high chance of rain.
• The time will be 1900 on the 30th of May.

 
d. Enemy Forces.

 

• Serbian 1st Brigade is pushing South on the West side of the river while the 2nd Brigade is advancing on the East side. The force consists of armored, mechanized, motorized, artillery, and airmobile forces that have all been seen in the AO advancing South. The Serbs have established an interrogation center in the town of Krupac. It is guarded by a mix of Serbian regular units and Serbian Pride paramilitary forces.

 
e. Friendly Forces

 

• The Montenegrin 2nd Infantry Battalion is holding the area and slowing the Serbian advance but they are stretched thin. Montenegrin resistance forces are operating behind the lines and may be able to support friendly forces.

• 160th SOAR
• Battleaxe 1-2 (Battery of 4x D-30 howitzers)

 
2. MISSION.
Alpha Company (WHO) is attempting to slow the Serbian advance (WHAT) against the Montenegrins in AO ATLAS (WHERE) to buy time until the Truman Strike Group can arrive (WHY).

 

3. EXECUTION.
a. Concept of Operations.
MSOT 8313 is tasked with liberating all those held in the interrogation center, designated OBJ PLIERS. In particular, the Mayor of Zuti kamen, who was captured yesterday. He was last seen wearing a black suit and tie, and was a member of the local resistance cell. Get to him before the Serbs get any information out of him. 

 

Additional tasking will be given in-field as determined as needed by Roundtable.

4. SUSTAINMENT.
a. Logistics

1. Transportation:  Method of transporting will be done by aerial assets of the 160th SOAR or Technical variants.
2. Supply: Rearm will be from COP Stiletto or delivered by the 160th.

1. Medical Treatment
   1. Casualties shall be treated by self-aid, then Corpsman support in the field.
2. Medical Evacuation
   1. At SARC discretion casualties may be evacuated to temporary Casualty Collection Points (CCP).
