WARNING ORDER

MSOT 8311 LEGION
 
1. SITUATION.

a. Overview: The 24th MEU has made landfall on San Esperito and is conducting combat operation inside AO Maine. The Venezuelan 3rd Marine Brigade has been severely degraded by the actions of the 3d MRB and has been unable to mount a significant defence agains the 24th MEU. As a result the 24th MEU has secured a foothold on the Western part of the Island (FOB EXOTIC) and have moved out to secure additiona Venezuelan strongpoints. The 3dMRB has been stationed at FOB EXOTIC and will conduct operation in support of the 24th MEU.
 

b. The Area of Interest is the port area in the capital city of Marilla

 

c. Area of Operations is AO MAINE.

The terrain is small mountains, swamps, dense jungles, and urban areas.

Weather is expected to be overcast with a low chance of rain.

The time will be 09:00 19SEP21

 
d. Enemy Forces.
Venezuelan 3rd Marine Brigade has suffered noticable setbacks due to the previous operation of the 3dMRB, but remain a potent force in the AO. 
With the US Naval Blockade still in place tensions between the Venezuelan troops, coup leaders and locals have begun to rise.
Having suffered heavy losses the Venezuelan 3rd Marine Brigade has fallen back to key poition across the island. They maintain some mechanized and motorised forces but USN air superiroty severly hampers their airmobile forces.

2. MISSION.
Alpha Company (WHO) is conducting raids in support of the 24t MEU's operations (WHAT) in AO MAINE (WHERE) in order to eliminate all Venezuelan forces present in the AO. (WHY).

 

3. EXECUTION.
a. Concept of Operations.
MSOT 8311 is tasked with conducting an assault on OBJ BRIGHT IOT draw Venezuelan attention away from the main 24th MEU assault on the bulk of the city of Marilla (OBJ EARLY). OBJ Bright is a small boat port, and has been the base for all Venezuelan light maritime forces have been operating.

 

Additional tasking will be given in-field as needed by ROUNDTABLE

4. SUSTAINMENT.
a. Logistics

Transportation:  SOCOM modified HMMWVs from FOB EXOTIC

Supply: Resupply will be brough in via aviation once OBJ BRIGHT is secured.

 
b. Health System Support

Medical Treatment

Casualties shall be treated by self-aid, then Corpsman support in the field.

Medical Evacuation

At SARC discretion casualties may be evacuated to temporary Casualty Collection Points (CCP).
