Unfortunately due to the situation on the ground, there is no local force we can rely on to escort those citizens to safety. We will have to send our teams out into the region and extract them ourselves to the airfield. b. The Area of Interest is OBJ TROUT c. Area of Operations is AO SANDMAN The terrain is mountainous with urban areas and small towns Weather is expected to be clear The time will be slightly before sunrise d. Enemy Forces. Enemy forces are Takistani rebel and loyalist factions scattered throughout the OBJ. Infantry and light armor are expected. Due to the chaotic situation, any armed individual is to be considered hostile. However, given the possibility of civilians in the urban areas, weapon discretion is advised. e. Friendly Forces N/A f. Alpha Company (WHO) is conducting operations (WHAT) in AO SANDMAN (WHERE) to establish an evacuation route for US citizens and extract those unable to reach the airfield (WHY). 3. EXECUTION. a. Concept of Operations. HADES will be tasked with reaching an aid camp (OBJ TROUT) with several civilians trapped in the town of Qibcaq North of the Airbase. Drone footage has revealed ongoing fighting within the town between both factions. The tight confines of the town and heavy fighting will make a direct landing difficult. The aid workers' previous attempt to extract via their helicopter failed when the helicopter was destroyed. Maps AO SANDMAN OBJ TROUT 4. SUSTAINMENT. a. Logistics Transportation: By 160th SOAR b.
