Capt Hart Posted April 23 WARNING ORDER MSOT 8313 HADES 27APR24 SITUATION 3d MRB is participating in training exercises with the 13th MEU (SOC) to improve amphibious capabilities when conducting littoral operations against a conventional opponent. This operation intends to assess the ability of the MSOT to conduct operations while outnumbered behind enemy lines in complex and heavily contested areas. ENEMY: A Russian Battalion Tactical Group (BTG) consisting of Mechanized Infantry, reinforced by Light Infantry and Armor, is holding the SE Island of Tanoa. After strikes from the 160th SOAR on the port of Lijnhaven, which severely damaged or destroyed much of OPFORs southern mechanized capability, OPFOR has repositioned a Tunguska to provide air defense. They have left their infantry defenses in place while withdrawing the damaged IFVs and Artillery to the maintenance depot in an attempt to quickly repair their damaged vehicles to a state of operational readiness. The maintenance depot was targeted and sustained damage during the air raid but has been left in place apparently in an effort by OPFOR to get their vehicles operational quicker. FRIENDLY: 3d MRB will assist the 13th MEU in conducting an amphibious landing of the SE Tanoan island staging from the SW island. MSOT 8313 Hades will eliminate OPFOR's repair and maintenance capabilities IOT cripple the sustainment of their mechanized and armored assets.
