MSOT 8312 VIKING & 160th SOAR

SITUATION

3d MRB will assist the 13th MEU (SOC) in seizing the central island of Tanoa from Russian Forces.

 

ENEMY:

A reinforced Brigade of Russian Forces have established defensive positions on the central island of Tanoa.

 

Brigade Composition:

1x BTG 27th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade (Mech Infantry)

1x BTG 247th Air Assault Regiment (VDV)

 

FRIENDLY:

13th MEU is conducting first strikes to disable OPFOR's artillery, SHORAD, and airborne capabilities. The 3d MRB & 160th SOAR will conduct recon and raids to destroy enemy assets, probe enemy defenses, and create weak spots in the defensive perimeter.

 

Simultaneous strikes will be conducted on identified OPFOR Rocket Artillery positions by VMFA-533 - F-35s, simultaneous with an engagement of OPFOR's southern Helicopter Assets, EW Team, & Mortar Batteries by 13th MEU Rocket Artillery. Strikes will begin @1800 and will conclude by 1815

 

MISSION

MSOT 8312 Viking & 160th SOAR will conduct a raid on the town of Tanouka, immediately following the 13th MEU first strikes IOT

1. Disrupt or Destroy 27th Guards Brigade HQ

1. Destroy T-90A Platoon

3. Destroy BMP-2's

 

RECONNAISSANCE

The reconnaissance picture is provided using SIGINT & IMINT from 13th MEU Assets.

 

Markings of enemy positions are incomplete and expected to be accurate at ± 50 meters
