SITUATION

13th MEU will conduct a final push to clear Tanoa of Russian Forces. 3d MRB & 160th SOAR assets will assist by destroying OPFOR along the Western flank.

 

ENEMY:

OPFOR attempted to conduct a scorched earth withdrawal to the N side of Tanoa. Bridges have been knocked out and mines or other obstacles and ambushes have likely been left behind them.

 

OPFOR units that have survived the withdrawal are strongpointing the N side of the island and are being pushed back by advancing BLUFOR units.

 

FRIENDLY:

13th MEU Air assets, after receiving timely intel regarding OPFORs withdrawal, immediately conducted surge air operations in response. This has resulted in OPFOR sustaining significant losses during their withdrawal.

 

Bravo Company successfully conducted an air assault and secured the connection between the mainland and the staging area. Alpha Company has moved across along with mechanized assets to reinforce.

 

Alpha and Bravo Companies are conducting assaults on the right flank pushing through the enemy defenses from E to W. 

 

MISSION

MSOT 8313 Hades, supported by the 160th SOAR, simultaneous with the main assault at 0530 IGT, will

1. Assault and destroy elements of a mechanized platoon IOT

Secure the left flank of 2nd Platoon, Bravo Company during their assault

 

2. Time / Situation permitting the additional mechanized squads to the W may be engaged IOT

Secure an assault vector for MSOT 8311 

 

RECONNAISSANCE

The reconnaissance picture is provided using SIGINT, IMINT & HUMINT from 13th MEU Assets.

 

Markings of enemy positions are incomplete and expected to be accurate at ± 50 meters
