Availability (Sunday/Saturday/Both): Im a first responder in Dallas so im off 2 Weekends a month on both Saturday and Sunday.
I am starting a 10 month Paramedic program so my schedule will be fluid. once I receive a start date I will relay that.

How did you find out about our unit?
Chat GPT, I've grown increasingly tired of Reforger and its stability issues and wish to return to A3 and find a stable community of like minded
peers while we await the hopeful release of A4. I used ChatGPT as a tool to find the most active and respected units in the community.

Why do you want to join the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion?
My interest in joining the 3rd MRB Realism Unit comes from both my military background and my desire for a structured, immersive gameplay experience. 
As a former Navy Corpsman, I worked closely alongside Marines and developed a deep respect for their discipline, communication, and teamwork. That experience shaped how I approach team-based environments and 
is something I look for in Arma 3 realism units. Before becoming a Corpsman, I attempted to join the Marine Corps. While that path didn’t work out, it strengthened my respect for the culture and standards Marines uphold. 
Serving alongside them still gave me valuable insight into small-unit coordination, leadership, and operating effectively under pressure. skills I aim to bring into a milsim environment. In Arma 3, I’m looking for more than casual 
gameplay. I want a unit that emphasizes realistic tactics, clear communication, and coordinated operations, whether that’s during Zeus-driven missions, patrols, or large-scale deployments. 
The 3rd MRB stands out because of its focus on realism and teamwork. I’ve also always aspired to become a Marine Raider, and while that goal didn’t happen in real life, that mindset continues to drive me to improve. 
I’m motivated to contribute, learn, and be a reliable part of the team.

Do you understand this unit is EST(GMT -5) time zoned based. Operations take place on Saturday at 1800 EST and Sunday at 2000 EST.
Yes, time zone is no conflict. I'm CST so the difference is only 1 hour behind.

Application accepted. Within the next hour, you will receive new forum permissions which will grant you access to the Welcome Aboard section where there are instructions to get you set up with our modpack.

 

Your next step is to report for In-Processing. This verifies that you can connect to our server and prepares you for attending your first operation with a team. If your mods are installed correctly, it should only take about 20 minutes.

 

You will then begin Assessment & Selection by attending the next available Operation for the time slot you wish to join. You will be attached to the aviation CO and will be guided through the operation by them. After completing the operation you will report for flight school where you will be taught the basics if needed.

 

If aviation feels you are a good fit, you will then be selected and will complete your training with them.
