WARNING ORDER - OPERATION IRON COVENANT

SITUATION: The Joint Force will conduct offensive strikes and a forceful seizure of GGNS territory, on the order of POTUS in retaliation for the televised execution of 17 US nationals on Guinean state TV.

 

ENEMY: OPFOR is the Guinean Armed Forces, 3rd Bat, 4th Bat, and Presidential Guard Companies.

 

MISSION

Phase 1 - At exactly 0400 Local, 3d MRB units will conduct an assault on OBJ Kandia, believed to be the location of the executions. This assault will Capture or Kill 2x HVTs identified in the execution video as "Sekou Traore" and "Elhadj Keita" with their bodies to be extracted to the ARG for confirmation. This assault  will also, secure the bodies of the US Nationals and extract them to the ARG.

 

Phase 2 - The MSOC assault will hold in place and attempt provoke OPFOR out of defensive positions in POI Jinx, POI Oriental, and POW Achkar to respond to the OBJ Kandia assault.

 

Phase 3 - At exactly 0430 local, USS Liberty will conduct TLAM engagement of ADS at POI Jinx, outside the former consulate, and POI Waps. USS Liberty will also target the the Helicopters Stationed in POI Waps. NLT 0440 Local, the 24th MEU will conduct a landing at POI Jinx in line with prior planning, and will move to secure the city. 3d MRB Units will operate in support of this landing by raiding Command locations in POI Jinx, including the former US consulate, and securing the captured UH-1 so that it cannot be destroyed by OPFOR.

 

Phase 4 - ISR will watch for a SIGINT / Physical response from POI Achkar IOT confirm the structure of the GGNS leadership and head of state. Once the person(s) of interest can be PID and high confidence raids developed to capture or kill them, the missions will be prosecuted.

 

COMMANDERS INTENT:
Retaliate against the GGNS leadership, reclaim US property, and dismantle GGNS core warfighting capability, prior to sunrise local time IOT line up with POTUS's statements.
