6 pointsParliament Hung Up on Increased Military Spending The Daily Times - 30th April 2017 With recent conflicts across the globe and a plague of cyber security breaches over the past 6 months, talks have been brewing on increasing the Ministry of Defense (MoD) budget. Funds added will help the creation of a new Army mechanized brigade, acquisitions of ships and aircraft for the Royal Navy and Air Force, and expanding Britain’s cyber warfare capabilities. Currently, the MoD budget is £43.7 Billion annually. The budget hasn't increased significantly in the past nine years. If Parliament passes the new budget, funding will be increased to £65.7 billion annually by 2022. “Nothing is more important than defending our country and protecting our people. With the recent conflict in the Pacific, and tensions brewing the world over, we have chosen to try to increase defence spendings and give our Armed Forces what they need to keep Britain safe for the future” - Defence Minister Oliver Weatherholt Most Members of Parliament are still unsure, unsure of whether it’s politically viable to support the measure just yet. Some insist that it is necessary, but plenty of Britons feel it's unimportant during this time of peace in the world. Most feel the money could go somewhere else to have a greater impact on the country as a whole than to increasing the MoDs funds. On the other hand, both Prime Minister and the Defense Minister have gone public about this issue, throwing their full support behind it. Hawkish MPs say this is all the proof the public needs to see the budget must be increased. British troops conducting overseas peacekeeping could be a much more common sight after a budget increase. While Parliament debates the measure, the MoD has submitted a full capabilities report before and after such an increase. Beyond the headline measures of new brigades, ships, planes and computer capabilities, funding would also allow the British Armed Forces to commit to more international peacekeeping measures. Further, the British Army could start more Foreign Internal Defense missions abroad . British Army Land Forces HQ in Andover, where the report was compiled. Our polling on the matter indicates a soft divide in the population, where around 25% of the population feels the funding is “strongly or somewhat needed”, 30% feels it’s “somewhat or very unneeded”, around 45% feels typically British about the issue, saying “Not sure/don’t care”. “I just want to feel safe, and I guess I already do” said one respondent from Birmingham. “We already have quite the military, but I imagine more wouldn’t hurt” said another from London. Proponents say that this “Don’t care” category of voters will find more funding appealing in the end, wanting to support the military, but detractors still argue that they’d rather the money spent on something closer to home. 4 pointsBREAKING NEWS: MARINES COME UNDER ARTILLERY FIRE IN OMAN Globe and Anchor -- 30APR17 IBRI, Oman -- Just past sundown this evening, Omani bases along the Malakabel frontier came under artillery fire from across the border. Omani troops responded with a reciprocal amount of artillery fire, as taught by U.S. and British military advisors. While it’s currently unclear who started the exchange, most fingers point to Malakabel. As part of this exchange, U.S. Marines, as well as members of the other services, forward staged to bases across the border came under indirect fire. Fortunately, according to USCENTCOM deputy commander LTGEN James Simms, USAF, no casualties are reported at this time. Marines move to cover after a round of artillery shells strike their firebase. “It looks like all SOPs and ROEs were followed at this time” said USCENTCOM, “But we have nothing further to report.” The Pentagon deferred all comment to a press conference scheduled for later in the day. The Marines are in the region to dissuade aggression from Malakabel, a small nation wedged between Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, all partners of the U.S. on regional security. 2 pointsNight One Title Card (Click) The gang started off by creating their characters. After Falconer got some suspicious rolls for his characters, Specter getting shafted with his INT check, the gang not being able to follow simple equations and Gluttony deciding not to choose feats for some...other pleasures, the gang started out in their new fantasy world. After beginning their journey in this new MMO world, the gang set out to find some work to trade for some weapons. After muttering to themselves about stealing from merchants, which brought some suspicious looks from some guards, the gang moved over to a well full of water. Everyone drank from it, Specter found a bucket, which he filled and would become a staple of the journey as both Specter and Swanson wanted to empty the bucket to use it as a crude helmet. They quickly found a distraught man near the well with a simple fetch quest to get his son's blanket back. They went to the docks to get the blanket back, but was mugged or rather, an attempted mugging my a group of bandits. With only one of the bandits armed Specter and Swanson decided to huck loose cobblestones from the road at them and promptly killed two of them. Falconer falco-punched some poor man straight through the chest, (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom style). Laprade almost got shanked in the chest but was saved by Gluttony ruining his assailant. Once all the hoodlems were dead, the gang set to looting them and picking them clean, with Specter taking both his rock and one of the bandit's cloaks for himself, and Swanson simply retrieving his rock. Laprade gave Gluttony the knife in exchange for saving his life. After quickly leaving the scene of the crime, taking a torche and 3 crude cigarettes to give to a child later on. Once the gang went back to the quest giver, each person received a weapon of their choosing. The gang tried to give their new found cigarettes to the kid, to no avail. Hess and Swanson took shortbows, Gluttony taking a shield to compliment his dagger, Laprade taking a massive sword and Specter taking a short sword. After receiving their weapons, they were tasked with taking a pack of Kobolds out, something that no one expected to go as it did. After walking out of city lines, and almost killing another group, the gang finds a few Kolbolds. Swanson tried and failed to knock down the scout before it alerted the rest of the pack, but alas it was in vain. The rest of the pack was alerted to their presence. Hess took to a tree to begin his overwatch, Laprade engaged with Gluttony assisting him, Falconer began his rampage with his weapons and Swanson was harrased by multiple Kobolds but Specter was there to help him. Once the intial engagement was over, the gang looted what they could, Hess went scavenging and Specter drank from his bucket, giving Laprade the last few drops to which Laprade politely responded by throwing Specter's prize bucket into the forest. After all the remaining Kobolds ran into the cave nest, the gang decided to begin their clearing of the cave. Burning logs and burning bodies were sent down into the hole and a group of Kobolds tried to punish the group for such an atrocity. With one of the Kobolds coming out of the hole ablaze, he ran to the tree that Hess and Swanson had decided to take refuge in, setting the tree alight. Hess tried to no avail to use his "fire hose" to put out the fire, with Gluttony also stepping in to try to mitigate the blaze. Laprade took a Kobold from behind and summarily thew him down the hole along with a head that Falconer had swiped clean from another. Hess forged for food, mid fight and Swanson shot two Kobolds and killed them quickly(They were the lucky ones). With the entrence to the cave being blocked by burning bodies the smoke column could be seen for miles, with other groups looking on at the massacre. Once the nest was burned out, and all the Kobolds killed, the gang went back to the city to claim their reward. (That's all I could remember, if I left anything out please feel free to comment.)

Did the pistol qual twice. The video is the second go through. First round i did a 36 out of 52, the second was 43 out of 52. Pistol used was a Gen 3 Glock 17C. And had a little fun after. Note the in the video we were using the fire pit and tree bush as cover since we didn't have and actual barriers to utilize. (Use your IMAGINATION!!!)
