The following excerpt from the National Intelligence Estimate of October 10th regarding Russia's intentions towards the Chernarus region has been determined to be relevant to the ongoing operations of the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion in the Chernarus area of operations. Information that has not been deemed necessary to the accomplishment of 3rd MRB operations has been censored.

Current Russian Force Composition in the Chernarus Area of Operations:
1st Chernarussian Front:
3rd Army Elements: 21st Guards Motor Rifle Division, 20th and 37th Guards Motor Rifle Brigades, 7th Separate Tank Regiment, 14th Guards Tank Regiment, 149th, 226th, and 292nd Artillery Brigades, 438th Rocket Brigade, 119th Anti-Aircraft Rocket Brigade, 73rd Air Defense Brigade, 5th and 23rd Special Purpose Brigades.
7th Army Elements: 14th Guards Motor Rifle Division, 135th and 204th Guards Motor Rifle Brigades, 17th and 18th Motor Rifle Brigades, 67th and 73rd Artillery Brigades, 465th Rocket Brigade, 182nd Anti-Aircraft Rocket Brigade, 988th Air Defense Brigade, 15th Special Purpose Brigade.
Airborne Units: 78th Guards Air Assault and 6th Guards Airborne Divisions, 46th (Airborne) Special Purpose Brigade.
Naval Units: 811th Naval Infantry Brigade.
Frontal Aviation:
5th Air Army Elements: 4th, 18th, 214th and 403rd Fighter Aviation Regiments, 367th and 472nd Assault Aviation Regiments, 48th Reconnaissance Air Regiment, and 326th and 415th Helicopter Aviation Regiments.
Long Range Aviation:
36th Air (Bomber) Army Elements: 53rd and 444th Heavy Bomber Regiments.
60th Air Army Elements: 11th Air Transport Division
Of note: Only the 14th and 21st Guards Motor Rifle and 78th Guards Air Assault are currently operating on the ground in Chernarus itself. The remaining units are deployed on the Russian side of the border, but are on standby to reinforce or replace damaged front line units, as well as being exploitation units in the event of a breakthrough should the situation escalate.
