I've not had much time to do so recently, but I try to every few days. It's only a 55 lb'er, so not too stiff, but for a slim person such as myself it's definitely been an experience. To give a better idea of the size of the bow, I was 5'10" at the time of the picture. HM1 C. PULLIAM Retired
HM1 (Ret) (FMF) Pulliam Posted February 28, 2017 More on topic, here's the first time shooting my buddy's old G98. 8mm Mauser is a hell of a round. Took me a while to get used to the battle sights, so forgive the shitty grouping. This was at 100 yards. HM1 C. PULLIAM Retired
2d Lt (Ret) Wendel Posted February 28, 2017 Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle - 18.5 Inch barrel, restricted to ten rounds per magazine because of Governor Cuomo and him being above the law. Got my rail attached to the receiver even though I don't have any optics to slap on that thing. 2NDLT B. WENDEL Retired

LCpl (Ret) McKnight Author Posted March 1, 2017 (edited) Leather holsters are fine as long as they don't get extremely wet or are extremely worn. Nylon on the other hand, you're just asking to shoot yourself in the ass / foot / dick / wherever. I prefer polymer / kydex personally. Edited March 1, 2017 by LCpl McKnight LCPL J. MCKNIGHT Retired
