For several years the newly formed CSAT faction has threatened to forcefully expand into the Mediterranean. Most of the top defense analysts across NATO never thought they would actually do it. On May 14th, at 0424 hours, CSAT caught the local Malden forces completely off-guard. Within two days the whole island nation was captured and claimed as new CSAT territory. Nearby island nations of Altis and Stratis have also come under attack. Stratis fell in a single day, not having a large military presence. Altis has stalemated and can be salvaged. We also believe that Malden can be rescued, as there is a small hold out of military forces managed to escape to a smaller island and call for rescue. You will be fulfilling the role of the 2nd YORKS Infantry of the British Armed Forces operating under callsign Jackal Your goal is to make landfall and secure a key set of ports so that we can start getting heavier equipment on the main island. Satellite imagery was able to identify multiple SAM sites. Unfortunately these sites are rotated regularly as CSAT is anticipating our counter attack. Support is limited until those are destroyed. Once the port town is taken you are to hold it so reinforcements can arrive. I'll take Marksman if Sidney is team lead. If not, gib stinger -
Generic signup time I'm very tired and don't feel like putting effort into a "story". So here's the story. You are a holdout of 212th troopers defending the last transport off the planet as it gets fueled. You'll have to rig your outpost with explosives while simultaneously fighting off waves of droids who wish to claim your outpost. It's going to be a brutal night. Another day another task for Hocus Insurrection activities have been on the rise in the area. That doesn't mean we stop our work to gain the citizen's trust. The planet of Madrigal is vital to the UNSC for its natural resources so making sure that the civilian population favors us over those terrorists is a must. Today your squad is activated to perform some tasks in the AO under the callsign Hocus. Some tasks will be to aid civilians while other tasks will be to help UNSC outposts so that the fight against the Insurrection can carry on in the background. Stay frosty. Even a mundane task could leave you vulnerable to ambush by terrorists. Roles Squad Lead: Maj Whelan AT Specialist: HM2 (FMF) Z. Cytech Industries has been developing tech for CSAT for the past few years. A popup company seemingly out of nowhere pouring lots of money into R&D certainly got our attention. We've kept an eye on their facilities. The one we've been tracking the most is an underground facility constructed in the northeast of Altis. Being underground it's hard to get eyes on site. We've been using various devices to track different measures to get an idea of what might be going on down there. As of two days ago, there was a sudden spike in electromagnetic activity. Various sources of radiation have also been sniffed out. These readings came directly following a minor 3.2 earthquake that was felt by locals. CSAT military personnel have been seen flocking to the area. We need to get eyes on that facility and try to recover whatever tech we can find. You're being sent in. July 17th 1944 Allied forces are fighting the Germans for control over Chef-du-Pont, a small French village with a valuable bridge. While this would be a significant victory in itself, allowing friendly armor to advance further inland, there is a more valuable prize. A German airfield and military installation were spotted by recon to the south. British Commandos are being sent in to clear it and capture the airfield.
