Not sure how many of y'all have heard of this, but Antistasi is a SP / co-op scenario (aka no additional mods required, fully RHS compatible & integrated, etc) that is intended to simulate guerrilla warfare. In Antistasi, you're apart of an American backed rebel group attempting to liberate Altis / Tanoa from Russian occupation. You initially start out dirt poor with AKS-74Us, Makarovs, and shitty backpacks. You grow your arsenal by doing hit and run attacks on Russian towns / checkpoints / patrols, recovering their equipment, and putting it in your arsenal crate at your camp (and you can choose where your camp is anywhere on the map). Once you grow your arsenal and armies, you can begin to conquer towns, military installations, and so forth and recover APCs, trucks, and helicopters. It's a completely persistent campaign, and apparently some games can take a month or two to complete. Antistasi is hard as fuck, but it's also rewarding as hell when you successfully pull off a hit. @1stLt Jennings and I have been playing the hell out of it and it's a blast. Here's a not so complete feature list: - Foreign Politics / Civil Support System- Around 18 possible Sidemissions which may happen everywhere. Assasination, Logistics, Destroy Assets, Rescue POWS, Conquer Missions in a wide variety on each type.- Possibility of Undercovered Operations, same as a Resistance soldier can do.- AI Enemy Commander which reacts to your movements and manages his resources.- Enemy Network Comms that may be disrupted.- Anything may happen, anytime, anywhere.- Persistent Stat Save System: You won't loose game or server progress upon a game update.- Enhaced AI Squadmate control.- Playable in SP, MP, and persistent open server MP.- Cooperate while compete to be the commander of your side (MP Only)- Build minefields, improve bases with static weapons which AI will use.- Altis gets destroyed as long as the war evolves.- From Guerrilla ambushes on the begining to BIG battles at the end. And that list doesn't do a lot of the features justice. Antistasi can be complex at times, but in a good way. It isn't a watered down advance and secure type of deal like Liberation is. You truly have to play with actual guerrilla tactics in mind if you want to survive in the early going. I'd love to get some people together and run this together. Dark business has always seemed to be a blast, so I figured we should give it a go and see who's up for it. This game mode is full of betrayal, mistrust, scams, and the occasional clean deal. For those unfamiliar with it, dark business is a team vs team game type focusing around blufor, redfor, and greenfor. The game takes place at night. Greenfor has hostages that redfor wants. Redfor has an ammo truck that greenfor wants. Blufor wants the hostages, and are willing to take them by any means necessary (whether it be by negotiations or by force). Blufor has NODs, optics, and other HSLD kit along with transport helicopters, but blufor is also limited in numbers. Greenfor and redfor don't have NODs nor optics, yet they have superior numbers. This leaves greenfor and redfor with flashlights, vehicle lights, flares, and other traditional light sources to see and navigate. Hostages serve as bargaining tools; they can either cooperate or attempt to escape. There are commanders for greenfor, redfor, and blufor; it's their job to conduct negotiations between the factions, to develop a ruse / scam, or to organize an assault - one game is never the same. All roles are equally important, regardless of who you play as. One guerrilla, rifleman, or hostage's actions can change the course of the entire game. There are no AI serving as key players in this game type. Greenfor, blufor, redfor, and the hostage(s) are controlled by players. The one exception is a script that makes a few random civilian AI drive around the map. This is for balance reasons, otherwise blufor in the helicopter(s) could see a traveling vehicle and automatically know it's redfor/greenfor and subsequently light the vehicle up. With AI civilians present, there's also the possibility of the car being a random civilian. There wouldn't be any additional mods nor scripts aside from the aforementioned civilian one, as everything is player driven. The game is typically held on Sahrani, but we could play another map depending on what y'all think. Dark Business Fun Op (2 DECEMBER)

I don't know bro, what I personally like about DB is that everything that happens is because of the participants' actions, so if blu loses the trail they're SOL unless they can pick it up again. I didn't play blu this time around, only red and green. It's pretty tense wondering if and when blu will come knocking down doors and whatnot amidst negotiations between red and green. -

Yeah, imo the civvie traffic would be good. It doesn’t have to be overkill, just some traffic that requires distuingishing between civilian traffic and actual bad dudes -

All of that sounds great to me. 1 blu per 4-5 opfor sounds pretty fair to me because of the obvious advantages in blu's favor. The air & ground traffic would definitely be a great addition too, I couldn't figure out how to get it worked out. I'm 100% with everything you said. Sahrani North sounds good, plus that nostalgia of ArmA 1 is 10/10. By Cherno do you mean Chernarus or the city of Cherno within Chernarus? By the way, I'm way too damn happy about y'all doing this template. Shit will be awesome. -

yeah stratis would def work. I think we need maps that are a mix between small enough to where you don't have to drive / fly for forty minutes to get to your destination, but large enough to where a meeting can occur without being buzzed by a helicopter within two minutes -

NBC'S NIGHTLY NEWS OPENS WITH BRIAN WILLIAMS READING THE FOLLOWING HEADLINE: "Good evening, America. Tonight we have breaking news from Iraq. A large group of Iraqis gathered outside of the al-Qa'id primary school located in Fallujah, protesting the 82nd Airborne Division's occupation of the school and usage of it as a base of operations. A curfew for civilians was previously installed by coalition forces. The protesters reportedly refused to disperse, demanding that the 82nd leave the school and allow it to re-open as an educational facility. When protesters refused to leave the area and return to their homes, chemical gas was used in an attempt to disperse them. This gas, commonly known as tear gas, is often used by police here in the United States. Despite the usage of the gas, the crowd persisted and refused to leave. Once the gas was deployed, shots rang out and troops from the 82nd returned fire into the crowd. Eye-witness accounts report that the gunfire originated from the crowd and was directed towards troops inside the school, however a gunman could not be located. A total of seventeen protesters were killed, with reports of upwards to seventy protesters wounded. U.S. nor coalition forces did not sustain any casualties during the exchange. What this incident means for future relations with Iraq or the entire Middle East is unknown. With us tonight is political commentator and analyst, Mark Halperin." "Good evening Chris, it's good to see you again. Like you said, as far as what will come of this incident - we have yet to see. To me personally, this sounds an awful lot like the Kent State shootings in 1970, where American college students were fired upon by Ohio National Guardsmen while protesting the Vietnam War. IMAGES OF KENT STATE TRANSITION ACROSS THE TELEVISION SCREEN With Saddam just recently being removed from power and a transitional government in the works, we really cannot underestimate how this incident could very well turn into a flash point in Iraq. We're still trying to win the hearts and minds of many over there, and this certainly cannot help accomplish that objective." THE TWO MEN EXCHANGE COMMENTS BETWEEN ONE ANOTHER BEFORE MOVING ONTO ANOTHER STORY. -

UPON TURNING IT TO CHANNEL 46, FOX NEWS PLAYS THE FOLLOWING STORY: On 25 June 2003, a joint humanitarian effort between non-government organization IDAP and the United Nations was conducted in Baghdad, Iraq. The purpose of this operation was to distribute clean water to civilians in need. A large crowd gathered, hoping for the opportunity to obtain water for themselves and family members. It was also an excellent opportunity for coalition troops to win the hearts and minds of many Iraqis. Troops from the 3rd Infantry Division were tasked with the mission of providing support and security for the operation. Attacks against coalition troops have increased in the past weeks despite the Saddam Hussein regime being removed from power and a transitional government installed. It is believed that a large portion of these Anti-Iraqi forces stem from Fedayeen and Ba'athist loyalists. It was abundantly clear that security was of great importance, and that no chances would be taken. The United Nations have been heavily involved in Iraq since the invasion in March earlier this year. Meanwhile, others were given the task of traffic control outside the palace where the distribution took place. As you can see, these guys didn't have much traffic to worry about. Our cameras also obtained exclusive footage of the distribution throughout the day.. ..including an interview with the operation's commander, Captain Mel Ester. "It's great for the local populace to see us out here and to be able to put our faces with friendly actions, even if it's something as simple as giving them a few cases of water. Commodities that we take for granted such as clean water are a great luxury here. The smallest of actions can mean a world of difference. These people have seen nothing but oppression and tyranny for the past few decades, and nobody deserves to live like that." The entirety of Captain Ester's interview can be seen later tonight at eight. We also obtained an interview from Specialist Adam Davidson. When asked about his opinion of the war, his response was "What do I think of U.S. involvement in the war? Well, I think we should win it". Thankfully this show of good will did not result in violence, despite one man being detained for further questioning. THE IMAGES AND VIDEO DISAPPEAR, CUTTING BACK TO THE ANCHOR We will keep you up to date on new developments in Iraq the moment we receive them. Back to you for this morning's weather, Jeff.
